Latha native language is Marathi. S.P.Balasubramaniam who holds world record for singing maximum number of songs hardly speak any urdu or hindi.

Pavarotti probably has not even heard of the word urdu! M.Jackson did not learn any urdu. Mariam Mekaba does not speak urdu. French is accepted as the most musical language so learning french does not make one a better singer. Urdu is a artificial language for snobs. Just overrated.
