Yes, I agree with some of the below comments. The U.S. Doesn't always win. Vietnam, 30 April 1975. Korea, 27 July 1953. We have lost. Not often, but we can lose. Just because we are 'good' doesn't always mean we win. I actually like scenarios with a defeated America. It offers a slightly more realistic turn of events. I only play the Washington D.C. levels in MW2; I play WIC, etc. Can't wait for Homefront and Battle:LA. Oh, and the soldier on the left sounds like he says 'slo-mo'.
@Stebbiethegreat Korea wasn't lost. The South is still free of communism, and probably will be for a very long time. MW2 was crap, and Homefront is cheap as hell and crap. WIC are the only games that was somewhat successful in showing someone invading the US.
@jawehawk Agreed. To mee MW2 seemed like it didnt show enough invasion. And Homefront looks too gun-ho and goes too far with everything. Atleast WiC was more down to Earth with warfare.
you are bull shit. ever seen an AMERICAN movie where the bad buy wins eh? americans have crappy taste, think they always win, will in China, there are movies where the bad guy does win. ever think of a word where americans are arrogant, and they loose cuz of it?
I actually have seen American movies where the bad guys win. I've seen further still where the good guys "win" but only in the most general sense of the term, at the cost of everything they fought for, or in other terms, an empty victory. In fact, such movies usually do well here in the US because they go against the usual convention of a guaranteed "good guy wins" situation.
I think it's nice to see something different. Not the tyipical "yeah kicksomeass we rule yeah USA" style, but "Oh bloody hell the commies just bombed my grammas house, oh fuck!" is much more interesting.
It's in line with the game. The Russians achieved strategic surprised with their invasion of Seattle, but eventually got outfought and had to retreat.
I think it's also important to point out that World in Conflict is a tactical game, and as such, you only focus on one part of the bigger picture. A Bradley and a few guys on a roof being blown away doesn't necessarily mean the battle is being lost on the strategic level, merely a tactical one in this particular instance. Indeed you can immediately see in the presence of the Abrams tank at the beginning and the fighters in the middle of the video that the scope of the battle is much larger.

Finally, a game trailer that isn't like "Yeah kick there ass, USA rules".
But this one is more exiting and much MORE realistic, like " oh fuck a tank ! Get Out !!".
I like those kind of trailers !!
