@mtty1988: Thats the only thing I disliked about the Dapol light bar is that unless you have isolated sidings, they would always be "on" which is somewhat unrealistic to have carriages lights blazing when in daylight or when they are stored up in the sidings out of use.
153302 dosent run anymore with eastmidlands trains hasnt done for sometime now last time we had to do works on it was september last year and even then it was beyond repair.

another good review, the shop in liverpool...you do mean hattons don't you??...if you do then what a fantastic shop!!! The dapol 153 in London Midland is now only £59!!
still thinking about dcc n gauge but fitting it to the small shunters scares me!!!
Well if your thinking of expanding it is defiantly worth it even if you aren't it's still good to have as you will have access to a wider range of models and you will find they run a lot easier. If you live any where near widnes I can give you a list of some good model shops.
I got this train for Christmas same livery same every thing accept I got mine with hornby super detail and it doesn't make that noise. A little tip if you want it to sound less noisy dcc it it makes a hell of a difference thank @ews8005
@Mrlego2011: Thanks for the info, I am thinking about DCC but as my layout is only 6 feet by 4 feet with a low volume of traffic. I am not sure if it would be worth it?
@tomsClass66: I certainly do mate. Though I don't yet have a OO gauge layout due to lack of space. But I am considering building a small diorama layout though of a Diesel Depot in OO gauge.
Brilliant review :) I love the class 153 - it's so modern or it looks it at least! The sprinters are awesome in my opinion. how did you fit your snow-ploughs? I think that Dapol haven't exactly got the scale right... as you said!... but still it looks brilliant!
@2002And: Thank you. The snowploughs slot into the base of the chassis using the two lugs mounted underneath the model. I am soon going to get a Class 156 from eBay that I am bidding on. So if I win, I will be posting a review soon. But if I lose, I will just wait a week or so and buy one from Liverpool ;).
@89thunderchunky: Aye I certainly did mate, but I didn't mention the name in the video as I didn't want to be considered as if I was advertising their business when the main focus is on the model :).
@itgamer100: I am planning to get a Class 70 at some point, but probably won't be until March now as my local model shop has completely sold out! The next delivery of them isn't due for two weeks unfortunately.
I.have 156 and.bachman dcc decoder but the carriage.lights.are none controlled witch.is poor to.say its plug lights.nd decoder
