  • I like how much is sheet music

  • I've been playing tuba for, about five years and this instrument is in my opinion the most fun to play

  • @adrenalinejunkie444 dude, i just switched to tuba from flute like, a lil over a month ago and i played the flute for the fun of it about a week ago... so NOT the same "rush" i get from my tuba... is that weird?? lol

  • @tubagirlrox13 No, Tuba has the biggest effect since its in the lower range. The higher areas not as much. Tuba must be your home instrument you are used to and love the most out of the two.

  • Im the only tuba in my school band so I can tell when someone sounds a little off anyone else notice the guy who started playing I've been working on the railroad cool thing though

  • I love the way the camera has a ton of re-verb! SO it makes it sound Harsher! Like it should be! 8D

  • anybody else notice that the middle guy at 0:27 flipped the camera off lol!

  • @mojo22ize he was fixing his music lol....

  • @mojo22ize did anyone notice how at 1:09 the play "ive been working on the railroad"? I think its hillarious.

  • @Dman8241 subliminal tubas..

  • @mw2addictish thats quite judgemental. i'm a woodwind and i liked it?

  • @mw2addictish true that brother

  • @mw2addictish

hey just because they dont like it doesnt mean their woodwinds! why yoo be hatten? im a woodwind myself and i love this im in the marching band and we played this in the stands all the time!!

  • no solo?

  • oh my gooooddddd IM THE LAST FEMALE TUBA PLAYER IN THE WORLLLDDD XD lol but legit... NO girls play teh tuba

  • @julietanimeluvr13 bullshit we have a tradition at my school to make sure there is always at least 1 female tuba player and it has been going strong for 7 years, also it's kinda funny cuz the tubas at my school are doing the same thing but only 2 are playing (we have 13 the 2 playing are just really good (FF: we are the largest marching band in the state of Florida))

  • @Sirzz2381 haha we have a 5ft tuba player at our school, the bell is bigger than she is

  • AWESOME SOUSAPHONE

  • EPIC

  • This was very interesting :)

  • lol

  • zajebiste

  • this will be me next year... in marching band n susaphone

  • We use 45 lb sousies. It'll hurt at first but then you develope muscle so stop crying about the pain, Be joyed to hopefully be a good player. I have to say, i admire people that play on bazookas, That requires a quite large sum of skill. Play it loud, and play it proud tuba nation!

  • @crazysh0ter2 very true i started marching this year with a 50 pound 4 valve sousa and its been a few months of marching with it and it doesn't hurt anymore or well it does but you get used to it but it still cuts of my circulation.

  • BASS LINE ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @NONAME4568 oh sorry i didn't realize that people had these things called balls anymore and just man up to the pain.

  • sssssshhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • YES OMG LOL

  • only women use pads

  • @chupacabra444 or guys that care about how their shoulder feels after ours of playing...

  • @NONAME4568 And @chupacabra444 I am a Tuba in a marching band, they one are using Sousaphones that rap around your body making it very easy to walk around, Two tubas are not as heavy as they look a own a KING TUBA and they are only 10 Pounds and i have no straps and this is till easy to walk around and my arms dont get tired..

  • Sousaphones!!!! :D

  • its a sousaphone

  • its a tuba or a sausofone?

  • @rkomemo A sousaphone IS a tuba. It was invented for the marching band and named after John Philip Sousa.

  • KICK BRASS!

  • 4 yrs marching at HS i have complete and upmost respect for our marching tuba's/souzaphones. double time across the field is no easy task lol.

  • i thik this is the most epic thing i have ever seen

  • one word E-P-I-C

  • we got a tuba line 1 person bigger but can't get same sound 3 freshman and 3 seniors wish thy could play this good

  • I think contra tubas (marching tubas that look like concert tubas) look and sound better than Sousaphones

  • Sweeeeeeet!

  • War eagle

  • dang theyve got FRICKEN SKILL

  • what school is this, or is it just a group of ppl playing?

  • what key sousas r these?

  • @mscastro1901 sounds like B flat.

  • those 19 people who don't like it are violinists

  • @sidewardion and just what the fuck do you have against violinists! dont be a bitch alright

  • They're sousaphones people....or atleast Marching Band Tubas

  • best Sousaphonists I've ever seen, considering half my Highschool thinks these are tuba's, and think the actual Tuba is like another type of the French horn or something.

  • an owl is a type of bird, a sousaphone is a type of tuba

  • MARCHING TUBAS!!!!!!

  • @mw2addictish Sousaphones is the real term .

  • @mw2addictish Marching tubas are set on your shoulder, but wrapped exactly like a concert tuba with the leadpipe going a different way to reach your mouth.

These are sousaphones. They play in the same key, range, and style as tubas but are not tubas.

  • @b0n3z3z they are better than concert tubas lol. i play a susa phone. and in tha marching band at my school.

    lol. they are fun.

  • @mw2addictish sousaphones

  • @aznbboyeuphonium36 sousaphones are marching tubas

  • @mw2addictish .....(trollface) its called a sousaphone

  • @warhammer5797 sousaphones are the formal name, there also know as marching tubas

  • @mw2addictish these are seusaphones

  • for everyone that says the sousaphone aren't tubas: THEY ARE! They are the marching equivalent of a tuba, because guess what, if you have a regular tuba on the field where is the sound going? Up, so John Phillip Sousa invented this so the sound would project out.
