  • Obama is and will always be naive just like the first Jimmy Carter, or that being Obama is the second Carter.

  • I won't pay to see any more Voight movies.

  • @buckfushes : why because he is a patriot?!

  • Voight has a point. Myself growing up in the early 70's, it was all about how the VC and Khmer Rouge were these noble freedom fighters and the U.S. the reactionary meddler. Then after the communist 1975 victory, and the stories started coming out about the horrors of the Killing Fields and millions of Boat People fleeing; the Left response was either silence or denial.

  • Liberty and Tyranny is a brilliant book.

Levin perfectly outlines what Conservatism is really about. Not what the Libs want you to think it is.

The left hate this book because it tells the truth and the truth is not what the left want you to know.

It explains why Conservatives hold the principles that make up the constitution. Freedom Liberty, free market, private property, limited government, free speech,

These things the left (Statists, Marxists, Socialists, liberals alike) reject.

  • Mark Levin's "Liberty and Tyranny" was a disappointment, full of the usual conservative platitudes about how faith is better than reason and that immigration should be restricted. :-(

Jon Voight should have recommended *Atlas Shrugged* instead. :-)

  • Your obviously too brainwashed to see that his principles were that chain immigration and illegal immigration put our country in danger. because they illegally take the power of immigration out of the governments hands.

And that reason and prudence are some of our founding principles but secularism cannot be the forced religion of the public sphere. The Supreme Court legislating and interpreting without considering the balance of power, origionalism or the roots of federalism.

  • I second his opinion on Congressman Paul Ryan -- he's the most admirable politician I know of, and bound for greatness.

  • Paul Ryan has publicly expressed appreciation for Ayn Rand. :-)
