After tons of my time wasted trying to finish this mission, getting ambushed by the NOOSE team coming up the stairs in the subway. Getting surprise buttsecks from the cops to the right of the stairs you come down from into the subway, suffering the experience of trying to chase off the cops when the AI is feeling like an ass. FINALLY losing the cops, the light at the end of the tunnel in my grasp!

Running away scripted cops: 7 minutes

Evading the cops and succeeding the mission: 40 minutes until I frustrated and quit.

Seriously, before I thought "This new police evading system rules!" but then when I drive and drive and every time a police car comes in front of me and again million cops are chasing me, then when I drive to some alley and they can't find me, helicopter sees or again some police sees me. Now, I think the "pay 'n spray" style in GTA3 era was better.

@goldbullet50 You must be bad at this game, it is simply retardedly easy to evade police below 3 stars, just exit the area of urgency, then sit just over the border, the police that were meant to intercept you will not reach you in time, and the police in the area that you have to escape will not come at tour from behind.

omg, thx! it is the 2nd time a video on youtube (I think the other one was from you too) helped me... it was sooo easy lol, if you run fast its sooooo easy, just get the van and drive away... if you hide in the last station like me before it becomes a 2nd stalingrad (3-5 dead cops at each stair) I used many grenades, heavy kalaschnikow fire (500> shoots) and so on. in the future I will take care with grenades, killed myself twice in that last tunnel because I clicked a grenade by accident. THX!

Oh, I try it like in the video... to run the stairs up very fast, I'm not sooo fast because I'm careful because the cops coming there got shotguns and full automatic guns, killing you (almost) immediately... ok another try... nr. 30 or so.

I got the earliest version... I tried this mission 20 times or so, I even get to the last subway stairs (where a pickup should be waiting, but I never could leave the subway tunnel), I even managed to get to the last stairs with almost full body armor, but on the last stairs.. I think I killed 20-30 cops there, but they don't stop to come down and my partners aren't very helpful in that situation...I'm short before using cheats, cause I tried it sooo often, is it a bug in the early version?!?!

@00vudu I have GTAIV for the PC and there is no AntiAim. Sometimes console games have anti aim because consoles are not as accurate as PC's mouse. The wii is the prime example of this, in all modes including multiplayer for most games there is a weak auto aim. It weak enough not to do all the work, but good enough to provide the user with aim.

i used the rocket launcher a lot!! i also used the health cheat..the rocket launcher only has 8 rounds so i ended up using the weapon cheat too

If you're having trouble with this mission, here a few tips that you can follow that are extremely helpful:

-Instead of holding down the shoot button which leads to the crosshair increasing in size making your bullets inaccurate, Use the left analog stick to move the crosshair up to your opponents head and only take a few shots.

-The cover system in Grand Theft Auto IV isn't incredibly reliable so sometimes it is easier to stand behind the wall and step out for a burst shot.

U should try zooming in to increase the accuracy of the weapon and aim for the heads to use up less ammo. Nobody can withstand head shots, even FIBs or NOOSE, so just hit the heads! :D

Didnt really like this mission. It was long and non creative. It seems creative but it just like rest of the missions, try to hide behind something and shoot everyone and if you die you have to start all over again, cant even skip that car ride, nor take a cab. Also vice city had awesome bank robbery already.
