I believe animal consumption, if done diligently, can be healthy. but vegetarianism/veganism isn't entirely about that. It's about compassion. A true man doesn't exploit defenseless beings. It's also not a liberal thing either. Myself, and many others I know are conservatives and still don't eat animals.

I believe animal consumption, if done diligently, can be healthy. but vegetarianism/veganism isn't entirely about that. It's about compassion. A true man doesn't exploit defenseless beings. It's also not a liberal thing either. Myself, and many others I know are conservatives and still don't eat animals.

Red mead is to be in moderation due to it being the highest in fat (twice a week is healthy).Eat more chicken fish and turkey :). I can eat animals anytime I want there is no Legitimate time for it. @nairategev Heart attacks isn't from meat. Its from excess grease or way too much junk food which causes obesity that leads to heart attacks. Strokes also are not caused from consuming meat. Gout isn't either its from too much grease. Therefore thats why you eat less fried food and more lean chicken,fish, and turkey and limit red meat to twice a week. My wife is a nurse as well and has taken on her own several nutrition classes.

StAlchemyst: are you really that unimformed? They feel pain. They feel stress. They have nerve endings, they have brains. Birds are smarter than you probably believe they are but still, does it matter? Do we need to torture creatures for profit? What kind of person considers it acceptable to torture and main a creature for profit? I thought the whole argument for human superiority is that we are supposed to be better than animals. I see no evidence of this here nor in your comments.

I personally don't know what would be worse if I was a turkey. Being mistreated in this factory, or Being chased down and having my guts ripped out by a Bobcat or wolf then slowly dragged back to the predator's den as I lay dying in pain. Then have the animals cubs slowly devour my flesh in my last terrifying moments of life. I think I'll take the suffobag in the factory. BUT NONE OF THIS MATTERS BECAUSE I WOULD BE A TURKEY AND WOULD LACK THE COMPLEX CEREBELLUM TO BE SENTIENT ENOUGH TO BE SELF
