Dookie is a good album, but if you think that American Idiot is anything near punk... you're wrong. You're listening to a fake manufactured sound that suits have deemed popular among young people, so really when you think you're rebelling, you just buying into a fad that labels and selling you. =)

I understand what you're sayin' and i'm agree with you...i only said that green day are not EMO,but i didn't said that i like them now..i prefer green day's old shit..not this new kind of songs...but i think that they don't suck..i think they had only changed a lot..but they have always done what THey wanted and they don't care about what people can think about it...i think they are a great band also now,but i prefer them in the past
