What I am about to write sounds cruel, but I have starved some stray/feral kittens into submission. I put food in a dish on a towel and sat nearby and made the kitten come to the food with me sitting next to it. After a week or 2 depending on the kitten, I give a gentle pat and after a couple of weeks of doing this, the kitten has started the knowing and trust process with you. The best part is after a month they roll on their backs and want their full bellies rubbed and purring like crazy.
That is a really high success method, I know. I don't feed feral kittens outside, but I have some here I need to work on more. I'm going to remind those interested in taming feral kittens they are feeding outside about this way, because it is by far the most effective. Thank you for posting this.
They all got ringworm and I had to bathe them three times a week in antifungal shampoo and give them meds. Aces went to a home in Corvallis. The little gray guy got a home in Albany. My brother adopted Pixie, one of the buff and whites. Jiggles got a home in Corvallis. Teddy got one in Jefferson. The orange tabby boy got a home in Eugene. And Purrly got a home in Eugene, too. She's the other buff and white. They all got over the ringworm and into homes. Long haul, however.
Love the song with the cute kittens but you're making me dizzy with the fuzzy camera bouncing all over the place.

is you going to miss them?

I miss them all and worry about them, wonder if they are being loved and ok. I can't help myself. That is why I am terrible at adopting out cats.

I like this song... oh the cuteness!
I was scared seeing those wires, but then I thought no one would leave live wires beside a boxful of kittens, right...
