Wow, if turning the TC off nullifies the warranty, why even bother to put it in the car? That's the thing about the GTR, it looks amazing on paper and people will throw numbers at you saying look at the NurBurgring times!! And then you'll get fanboys telling you how it's cheaper than a Porsche 911 turbo and is just as fast but in all honesty I can never see myself shelling out roughly $100K for this thing.

The 2012 GTR placed the fastest lap time in the nurburgring. Fastest production car that is. The Viper ACR is out of production thus it does not count.

Clarkson is not looking for good cars, he is looking for thrilling Cars. So probarbly something that drives so badly you think it´s trying to kill you:-) he should take a TVR Tuscan 2

Go buy one and enjoy the smell of hydraulic/transmission fluid smouldering on the exhaust system. BTW, whats the point of a sports car if it doesn't feel exciting? I agree with Clarkson that this thing would feel boring. I've driven GTR's (a few R33's) and those were good.

The RB25DET was a well proven engine with some examples making over 1000 HP reliably after modifications. The R33 and R34 GTR's both handled well and with tweaks (like those on the Mines R34) they were track monsters.

Yep, it's true.

But as he said in this movie he is searching the thrill and the fun...and he founded it in the Black...even if I prefer something else.

The GT-R as he said is for the timed laps, and not so for fun.
