one thing you ppl need 2 realise is that the indian national anthem doesn't praise independent india .. it was a song by tagore for the king of england & the territories under him .. change the anthem!
Respect... what a simple word... yet How many realy value it's meaning? If u cant respect urself, ur parents, ur siblings, ur neighbours, ur friends, ur collegue, ur community, ur state then how will you respect ur country... first respect ur values, ur traditions, ur dreams then u will realize that others have it too... then u learn to understand and respect others as ur equal, regardless of religion, ethnicity, cast, nationality or gender.... Then u become a true citizen....

It's not a common rain. It's a first day of monsoon, isn't it? The very special day when everything an everybody is new and fresh. When the first drops fall from the sky it's like a magic moment. Beautiful video. For a moment I feel proud of India and it's anthem. (And I am Polish - lol)

How can goverment allow naxals to have so much power? Any policeman who is afraid and not doing his job to preserve law and order, should not be in that position. Indian policeforce is too soft, and government has to bring in the military to eradicate naxalism to ensure peace and security in the region.

um...hello? When my Grandmother was born we still had a Kaiser in Germany and everybody bowed to the tyniest, poorest aristocrat naturally. The Indians are a lot more advanced now than we were up until 50 years ago.
a very nicely done ad ... brings out eh feelings wat every Indian have for India..
but der are few things that concerns me (correct me if iam wrong). I dont think its allowed to start the National Anthem from the middle (as in the commercial) and i also think that The National Anthem is not alowed to be played in Radio at odd times.
What bugs me most is when people go for few days to Foreign land and come back with fake accents, talking how beautiful that country is and criticizing India. I been abroad and love it but trust me when my flight is landing in Mumbai airport and I see Dharavi below I always feel happy to be back home and first thing i wanna do is eat Vada Pav. Believe in yourself and not circumstances because circumstances will only change if you try an change them. If u say we hv corruption then stop bribing.
accents may be fake, but some of the stuff they say is true...i came here to USA in Jan 2010 and was surprised to see the huge malls, disciplined traffic, beautiful churches, etc.... i ve met pretty good people here, and also some idiot racists and xenophobes... but still i fell in love with this country, its people and its culture...
I have seen and felt many problems of India(like anyone of us)...but, i always loved my nation, its culture, traditions and more over its people...
right now i m in abroad ..for past 2 yrs!! but stil....no country is like india no matter how good it is or how much money is thr!! india is always goonnna be at the top....no matter..i m out of ma country but i know MY COUNTRY IS MY COUNTRY!!!
@svbille People don't make fake accents... some may be but with me... I speak english most of the time and I started speaking n learning in US and so do is my accent has developed. I noticed that my hindi is same... but english changed. And those who criticize India are stupids... yah if they critize Indians then its ok.... cuz our people are really worth it... those who are corrupt. But the nation itself is great.
@svbille I also stay in abroad and used to come India frequenlty because anways abroad is beautiful and lovely, everything is an a good manner and rules are fillowed stritly but still i miss our roadside tea stalls and vada pav ... paav bhaji and dhabeli... but still i have to say that when I see dharavi I never get the good feeling because I have seen the best part of the world now the worst... I have changed myself by obeying law and want everyone to strictly obey law, no dharavi ll b there.
@surekha60 thankyou for all this. one thing is common between you and me. i also relish tea served on the side of the road. and i live in new delhi. JAI HIND.
@svbille I also stay in abroad and whenever I used to come to India... I get excited by roadside chai ki tapri and paav bhaji , dhabeli. But when I see Dharavi i get upset bcos I have seen the best part of the world now the worst, I myself obey the law and rules strictly and want every citizen to obey that, then there wont be any other dharavi.
@svbille yep.spot on.wherever you are, no matter how far you have went, nothing beats the feeling of coming back to your homeland and helping you own country- the sweat and tears of your forefathers.
@svbille I completely agree with you except for one thing that people come with fake accents, I have been here in Canada for a over an year now and my accent has changed 'cause it just comes I mean its just comes with time and with the kind of surroundings a person is living in......
@svbille Dont keep this misconception that u love ur country...u feel good because u are grown up in this place and u have family and friends here, thats why u always love to come back...And if really love ur country then join govt service,Army,police,POLITICS..why did u join Industry who are just serving other countries...
One of the amazing National Anthem Videos that stir the soul !!! I remember in my school days. Every day we would sing the National Anthem and our days would start. This surely happened for others as well. But it is so reminiscent ...I salute the spirit of India!!!

dont bug on people who grew up outside of india, asking them to be as indian as possible is hard, and wrong as well,
they grew up somewhere else, have different lifestyle, you should respect the country of your origin, but also the country that you grew up in
to all those 'uberindians' who cant keep complaining about us, get a grip! we know what india is, we will never let anyone talk dirt about india
but dont expect me to speak with indian accent, read indian papers, and be 100% indian, im not

@svbille yep.spot on.wherever you are, no matter how far you have went, nothing beats the feeling of coming back to your homeland and helping you own country- the sweat and tears of your forefathers.
peace from Singapore:)
