  • i was pretty intrested for this kind of PC... then he said 9600GSO..... damn that sucks

  • lolp @ the motherboard

  • Not trying to bash on the PC because this was decent hardware back in 2009 but... why are they using the Crucial Tracer Mem when the case doesnt have a window. =.=

  • why in the fuck you need 2 graphic cards??

    just buy 1 good

  • Lol not even using a ultra psu

  • Hey i am still running that processor

  • lol yeah vram is not stackable

  • I could build a better case....

  • Tiger Direct videos remind me of sleazy used car salesmen. They try to make it sound like this crap hardware is "ZOMG 1337!!!1111".

Just watch Linus Tech Tips and Paul from Newegg. They are salesmen as well but they don't try to blow smoke up your arse.

  • @D0wnshift so true

  • @D0wnshift thats what them noob's do, thats why i don't shop their no more NCIX FTW!

  • but can it run crysis 2?

  • @nelizmastr Crysis 2 is easier to run then the original Crysis. Actually Crysis 1 was not even hard to run just 99% of the people used the wrong hardware recommended by Crytek

  • @nelizmastr Im pretty sure my grandmas pc can run crysis 2i had a 8800 GTS 320 that i nolonger used and i could run it on that so yeah me thinks it can. ; )

  • @bornwisedistruction that just meets the minimal requirements, so lucky you :)

I can run it on advanced settings with my gts250

  • lol

  • Bullshit

  • We should have a british show like this !!! We`d kick ass !!

  • The case looks terrible for cable managment and air flow.. :/

  • @daavee03 I actually love the OEM looking case. It looks very luxurious and clean in style rather than a gaming case with a ton of useless neons, lights, and dozens upon dozens of noisy fans. More like saying I would rather have a Mercedes than a ricer.

  • @vangstaz I like my flashy window and LEDs in my computer. I hate running it at night. You can turn the fans down or just unplug them, but you CANT turn off the LEDs. I wouldn't mind an Antec 300 with no window or LEDS. Really wish I left more room in my build for upgrades. If I wanted to upgrade to what I want I need a new PSU, motherboard, video card, CPU, leaving behind the case, memory, DVD drive, and hard drive.

  • THE SIZE OF HIS HAIR!!!

  • this guy is not a nerd you nob!

  • I miss Doug as well. He's the reason I bought the motherboard that I did when my previous one died.

  • Doug is way cooler. I want Doug back.

  • This guy is such a nerd! Is that cool or what!

  • This isn't a very impressive computer. For someone that can't or would prefer not to do a custom build, it's certainly decent. I think the only draw to it is that it's using SLI. It's just... boring.

  • @ptoner87 Yeah i totally agree

  • @ptoner87 upload date : February 27, 2009 .

  • @ptoner87 it was one year ago....

  • @sgAKAchina Fair enough. Good point.

  • This has two Playstation 2s Holy Crap!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • generic psu's suck i had mine for 6 months and i fried it :D

  • My 9600gso isn't sli but it is already 1.5 gb ddr2. How did EVGA did that?

  • @JetJL

Bigger memory chips, I doubt they added more memory chips, since there isn't space for that

  • cache*

  • "change from seeing generic stuff that... kinda sucks" wtf how does that make the parts suck? This nerd is pitching this product so stupidly...

  • @Hedgehogboy3 Not really, generic parts do suck. The only thing wrong with this video is how he added up the frame buffer.

  • @TonkatrainHONKHONK What do you think of as generic? Reference might look generic but it is in many ways superior. Name brands release reference cards well before they put their own touch on the product, and if you're watercooling, then you're going want a reference design.

    Reference = / = Proprietary = / = generic.

  • Haha fail at talking..."Now that you've seen the outside, lets take a look at the inside."

Well im pretty sure I just looked at the inside, I dont really feel like looking at the inside again.

  • @DiDolRuChagi And notice he didnt tell us the price. So It couldnt have been that incredible.

  • NO CABLE MANAGEMENT :(

  • A very nice copy of Far Cry 2. As opposed to a very bad copy of Far Cry 2.

  • It's spelled cache, not cash.

  • the blankest i/o shield plate i've ever seen lol

  • Why would you want light-up ram in a case with no window? lol

  • why the fuck didn't they use an ultra PSU?

  • @TheGOMES37

OCZ is a damn good brand.

  • My MonSter IS :

    Intel core i7 920 2.67 ghz

    Mather Bord : ASUS P6T

    ‏3x2GB Corsair XMS3 Triple Channel‎ 1333 MHz Video Card - NVidia GeForce 9800 GT

    ‏Seagate Barracuda 500 GB

  • talk about unoptimization.

  • wow my mate has the exact same setup except the motherboard, but to be honest i hate i7 coz i dont see any reason why u need so many cores lol

  • @ZeRoX2911 Why 9800. You should've got atleast a gtx260

  • @ZeRoX2911

    Get a better video card.

  • Comment removed

  • personally i believe that if you have the dough you should opt for a xfx 780i sli mobo and an intel core 2 duo cpu. Also maybe im blind but i don't see a psu on your list :)

  • Get an HD5770 instead of the GTX260, and you need dual channel (2x2GB) DDR3 RAM, not triple channel. Tri-channel DDR3 is only for the X58 (i7) platform.

  • the phenom II X2 550BE is an awesome processor, it overclocks like a dream!! Just dont use the stock cooler tho ;)

  • All AMD BE's are awesome :D I'm using an X3 here :]

  • I'm using 965 x4 =)

  • that is a pretty high grade system.

although, I recommend using an ATI video card if you plan on going with an amd based system.

    the rest is great.

  • amd goes great with ati and intel with nvidia dunno why but it does

  • @Abraxas20012 How so? I've always ran AMD with NVIDIA and had no problems. To be fair though.. AMD does own ATI so there's your reason.

  • @Abraxas20012 thats not true. I use AMD AM3 550 and GTX260. if you mean that most intel boards support sli and most AMD supports crossfire. well AMD and ATI are joined so intel just ate up the nvidia market.

  • lol I have that same mouse that comes with it lol and also, there is no difference between 15fps and 90fps, since the human eye cannot proccess seperate frames once you pass 12fps, the only difference would be if it's stuttering.

  • @Flightkid9 problem with a comp being strained enough to have to run at 15 fps there will be other problems like skipping frames freezing and being buggy

  • well yes, that's my point, the only difference would be the stuttering.

  • but more fps is better than less cause of lagging! with more fps your game wouldnt lag so hard as with low fps:)

  • well i'm just saying that as long as there is no stuttering or lagging, there is no difference,

  • are you retarded? That has the be the most dumb comment i have read in awhile. How about you play your games at 12fps then try that same game at 90fps- there will be a MASSIVE difference flighkid9- Your confused, its 32fps that the human eye can barely tell the difference at. Even then, there is a difference between 32fps and 90fps, its visibly smoother at higher fps.

  • i have the e8400 lol

  • Wow. that sucks for 2009

  • ETF are you talking about? This system sucks for 2009? WTF? Are you retarded? This system has SLI in it with 4GB of Tracer Ballistix Memory which is better ram than what most people have. Also this rig has Dual 9600 video cards which will play Crysis easily- Unless you have a 10 million dollar system, this this system is more than adequate for what they were trying to shoot for.

  • it doesnt suck. its a budget sli pc.

it doesnt play crysis easily tho. even my 285 has slow frame rates. but itll prob run most games

  • Dude my older EVGA 8800GT SuperClocked played Crysis at 1680X1050 with the realism mod on max settings. My new GTX 275 rocks Crysis at 1920X1080 everything max with 4X AA at playable smooth fps. Of course the rest of my system is up to spec but the graphics card is the most important part.

  • that i dont believe. 30+ is considored playable. and with using the mod, the settings are even higher than very high. look at the benchmarks. at 1280x1024 at high, the max fps was 36. with no AA. and now imagine it at 1680x1050 with 4xAA with settings higher than very high. wont even go past 15fps. my gtx 285 could only get 40 max at those settings.

  • Dude Its my friggin rig, i built the damn thing, I know what she can and cant do. What i say stands. Also no, 30+fps is not all thats playable. Even at 25fps is smooth and playable.

  • 25fps isnt smooth at all... i guess uve never played at 60fps before... go try it and compare it to 25. theres a huge difference. and you can feel the difference between 29and 30 fps.

  • What the hell? Ive never played at 60FPS? Dude i have 2 GTX 275's in SLI with a 3.6GHZ Intel Quad Core. What the fuck are you talking about- every comment you make you make yourself sound dumber and dumber. Yes you can play at 25FPS and it is smooth. OBVIOUSLY its not as smooth as 60 fuckin fps but its playable. Your annoying stop talking.

  • 25 at avg, then maybe.

but it wont. and most of the time its prob around 1x fps mark.

i still dont believe that a 8800gt can get a 25fps at 1680x1050 with the mod.

  • My Rig when I had the EVGA 8800GT SC OC'D to the point of being Faster* than the 8800GTX. Antec 900 Rev 2.0 Case Intel Core 2 Quad 3.6GHZ 1800Mhz FSB Zalman 9700 CPU Heatsink EVGA 780i Tri SLI Mobo EVGA 8800GT SuperClocked OC'D to 730/1850/2.2GHZ (now i have Gigabyte GTX 275's OC'D) 4GB OCZ H.eat P.ipe C.onduit Memory OC 2X500GB HD in Raid-0+500GB and 320GB+ 320GB HD's External + Maxtor 80GB Ultra Mini Corsair TX 750 Watt PSU Toshiba 40" 1080P HD 120HZ LCD + 22" HD2200 HD WideScreen
  • In 3D Mark06 the 8800GT SC pulled 14,993. If you give me your E-Mail I can send you the Benchmarks.

  • Also- you only get 40FPS in Crysis with a GTX 285? You should be getting higher performance than that. Each of my GTX 275 gets higher than that. Of course they are heavily overclocked but reguardless the GTX 285 has the 512bit interface. Whats the specs of the rest of your system?

  • i just benchmarked my gtx 285 with the realism mod with no AA at 1920x1080. i got avg of 15... and my gtx 285 is oced. 2gb version

and anything below 30fps u can really feel a difference.

i dont think its bottlenecking since crysis rly depends on the gpu, not cpu.

    btw i hav a e6550 @ 3.04. 2gb @866mhz

  • Are you effing kidding me?! You bought a GTX 285 with a E6550? WTFFFF- OF COURSE ITS BOTTLE NECKING- That bunk ass cpu is holding back your entire system- same with the 2GB of memory. How did you even think you could start talkin shit to me when your entire system is so unbalanced. LOL Your getting 15FPS at 1920X1080 with a GTX 285- Dude think about that for a second. Also- Crysis with the patches utilizes the CPU to its fullest- yes its GPU reliant but the CPU is very important as well.

  • Also since you don't believe me- I have videos of my older setup on my account playing Crysis with the EVGA 8800GT SuperClocked- can't get more proof than that.

  • @illmagnified I lol'd when i read you never play at 60fps or higher than 25. You have 2 GTX 275s in SLI thats well than enough to run at good graphics and 60+fps

  • lol i have 600W by help with a second PSU, I drilled 2 holes in he psu and just attached it to the case

  • please help me,

i want to buy a full gaming pc, (by buying parts)

can u all give me a suggestion,

for all the parts that i should get,

i want to play XBOX's game, (without lag)

    please,

im in malaysia, so if you all can help,

    reply! PLEASE! :DD

    (not too expensive! :DD)

  • how many videos are you going to post this on? go to yahoo answers, there is a brilliant community of experts willing to help :D

  • ohh, okay , thanks!

  • Q9550, HD 4870 - 4890, 750W PSU, mid tower case, overclock. probably best. but idk requirements for X360

  • hahahaha the inside looks like shit

  • do you guys think i can run 2 gtx 295's on a 800 watt corsair PSU?

  • no

well... yes... but its a very very bad idea

    very very bad idea

  • no you need 1000+

  • yes, you can

  • fuck off ..go build own pc

  • whats the name of the ram? i dont understand it?

  • corsair

  • thx

  • you're welcome ..

  • crucial ballistix tracer

  • lol they got the email wrong

  • Anyone who knows what he's talking about in this video would build their own PC anyway.

  • why would ultra build a computer that has an ocz power supply?

  • Because Ultra PSUs suck balls lol.

  • @bigkillsyou I was wondering the SAME thing

  • shitty PC.....

  • Somebody tell me what overclock means

  • Making your hardware run at faster speed than what is was when you bought it from the store

  • making stuff run faster then she speed its sold at

for example. you buy a cpu running at 1gh. then you open the BIOS and mess around in it(dont!) then it runs at 1.5 or 2gh and becouse its yust as fast as the cpu that was 2x as expensive you have a god deal and a fast pc

one warning before you try it. it will void your warranty(on 99.9% of the sold cpu's)

  • What the fuck is the point of spending so much money on this piece of shit?

  • somebody should try counting how many acronyms he says

  • NOT FOR SALE ANYMORE

  • what was the price?

  • free

  • hahaha i have the same case and the same mouse

  • i own this pc and it is really great but the dvd drive is a piece of shit. also i had to buy a new psu cause they broke the connectors for the hdd on the one they sent.

  • Garanty is for someting

  • Comment removed

  • Crappy Cards better of if they put two 9800 gt or gtx...with a better psu.

  • do they sell it yet?

  • No, they keep it to them selves ;DDD

  • its a good system

    not like mine thou

    Intel:Q9500 CPU overclocked to 3.25GHz

    Corsair 1066Mhz Dominator Ram

    Nvidia 9800GTX

    LG GGW-H20L(blu ray burner)

    TV tuner card

    Asus Silent knight CPU Heatsink

    Zalman ZF-1000 GPU heatsink

    Zalman fan controller

  • not bad man it should last you 2-3 years with a graphics card upgrade in there somewhere and maybe a ram upgrade

  • Ram upgrade? you mean get more but the clock speed is fine for me i made my system because it is a full entertainment center Digital & Analog TV Blu-ray playback HD-DVD playback DVD playback CD playback blu-ray burning DVD burning CD burning & i forgot to mention i have 2 Western Digital 500GB HDDs in raid 0(stripeing) as well as a 15GB quantum HDD for Pagefile
  • GSO's SUCK MAN!

  • In fact my friend the 9600 GSO can be more overclockable then a standard 9600 GT and are allot cheaper and the benchmark results are better in games like Crysis and COD4 if are oc with only 100 Mhz on core clock.

  • lol he said email me but hes albert

  • ????????????

  • Albert said email me but it gave bauers address.

  • SUCKISH

    Cable management sucks

  • I dont think tiger direct beileve in cable tie's or electrical tape mate, or at least from the builds iv seen their has been minimum airflow due to cble resriction.

Cant remember the name of the rig they did but it had a modular psu [coolermaster] and it looked like they just pluged every cable in for no good reason other than to block airflow..... Randomly!

  • Indeed , but i'm sure u can do it better

  • when u run sli you dont get "combined" vram you get the ram of one card since each card uses its own vram

  • I am selling my 9600GSO on amazon

check it out I have vids of it

  • sold!!!!!!!!

  • really?

  • how much? and wheres the link

  • its old...

  • the should have taken 2 9800gt's and i would still sell to this day ;p

  • but i would like xp not vista:P

  • how much would this thing cost on euros pls someone respond !!!

  • this retard doesn't know the outside from the inside.

  • OMG this is the exact same computer i am building esept i have a different case. this is sooo weird.

  • this or the macbook?

  • Hah, Retarded question!

  • i'm assuming this

  • it like two totally different classes of computer

  • for gaming? this...but its not one of the best out there

  • IT SUCKSSSSSSSSS

  • Thursday 09 April 2009:

    $869.99

  • Price anybody?

  • im paying 915 but i live in OR. it's 870 without s&h

  • is this good pllease reply!

  • This pc is pretty shit to be honest. Mine probably performs better with a single ASUS ATi 4850 512mb. And notice he didn't actually say the price of it lol.

  • they never say the price of it.

  • I MISS LOGAN!!!!!!

  • What happened to LOGAN??

  • he got promoted

  • Ummm can I buy this in Australia =)

  • can i do tri sli on 9600gso?? if not tell me the cheapest dx10 card that will run 3 way sli..please help ....cheers

  • you would get more performance if you bought 2 more expencive cards.

  • yes, then the price would go up a lot.

if people optionally want more they can, where as not everyone can afford lots.

  • any ati cards from 3850 which is 70$ each is cheap and 3 way. for sli, the gts 250 is only 130$ per card and trisliable.. its drowngrade from 260 gtx

  • go buy the nvidia 250gts 1 gig version, you can play all the games you want in dx 10.

  • WTF WHY IS IT $900 such a rip off i swear it wasn't that much like 3 weeks ago

  • the rig only have a 600w psu, i think if you start tweaking the gpu and cpu it cant have a stable overclock, insufficient power shall be the problem.

  • Can it play call of duty world at war

  • yup

  • What's the motherboard?

  • lol the email adress said bauer not albert. nice video and computer tho.

  • The description says "this PC is a bargain at twice the price!"...............

Ultra needs to work on their cable management, that looks terrible.

It's $900 and the reason they don't say the price is because the price changes.....

  • its $900 on their site

  • It's only $450 in the back of my couisin Vito's van. Only three available. :)
