  • Yea the version with the PIANO in the beginning is much better,

  • Are you sure this is Diana singing, and with Florence, Mary and Barbara in the background?

  • The Supremes should've stayed a quartet, Barbara had a good voice, This is my favorite song by them along with their version of "After All"

  • I also like her voice

some people hate barbara's voice but I like it it was different smokey and let's call it retro

    I like it =)

  • I second that motion...many times it has been proven the unit does better than everyone going single. Diana did great however, the young ladies that came up the ranks with her did not fair as well.

  • whoah! this version is different from what i used to listen to. thanks for uploading, sir.

  • Beautiful Song.

  • I love this song. One of thier best songs ever. Diane sings her little butt off!

  • Linda Williams, and my first real crush, not too mention first kiss, golden decade, Detroit was the epicenter, Motown still rules

    Robert Clemmon

  • This is my favorite Supremes song, no question. Thanks for posting it!

  • Even though the Supreme's sound wasn't quite mastered yet ... this is a good song from the beginning stages of their development. It has a charm all it's own.

  • Could this be the echo version? Or the other version?

  • yes it seems to be the echo mono version

  • this song is bomb. i love diana's voice on this track

  • Florence, Mary and Barbara are in the background

  • definitely one of the supremes' best records EVER! just the right key for diana, and florence and mary turned up nice and loud which is great. i love it when they repeat the harmony in the middle - 'your heart is mine'.

  • December 8, 1961 same session as "The Tears"

  • Did you say this song was recorded in early December of 1961?

  • I remember Smokey Robinson wrote this 1962 gem for the Supremes and there were also 2 versions of the song.
