@1337ventura get whatever works for you, but in general, you want your truck axle length to be fairly close to the width of your deck.

@RiyanCantDance size 8 board? size 8 shoe? you want the trucks' axle to be approximately the same size as the board. If you have an 8" deck, get trucks with axles as close to 8 inches.

@archzurfer i would have to go with the lights just casuse they have the hollow kingpin. The pro models, the dips, and sonoras are all about the same, and the hollow lights might be a little too light to where u don't have a good board feel. but its all personal preference.

@archzurfer it's the height of the axle. If you ride big wheels or loose trucks, sometimes it's nice to have that extra space, similar to what a riser does. If you want quick, snappy tricks and ride small wheels, Lo's are probably better; it seems like the hesh dudes like Hi's and the tech dudes like Lo's... -Benson

@archzurfer having stability while going fast doesn't really go with doing tricks. If you want to bomb hills, go fast, and be stable, I'd recommend something with reverse kingpin like the Paris, Randall, or Gullwing Charger trucks. If you want to do tricks, get Indys or Thunders. -Benson
