I completely disagree. It's petty to quibble over whats in the contract when the director has decided the waist down shot will not be used. Keeping your employees comfortable is very important to get the best out of them. Wow, one of the few times I have to disagree with Penn. Penn said, himself, that she was not going to be shown below the waist so how out of line is it for the model to simply ask not to be nude unnecessarily. Now I wasn't there and wouldn't know the tone either of them had while shooting the skit but it seems Penn seems angry for no reason. There was nothing saying that she was not willing to get nude when it entails, and it seems like the model only wants to be nude when it is required.
Bullshit was intending the audience to believe that the talent on the show was nude. This particular model not wanting to be nude (even if the audience could not tell) goes against the spirit of the show and makes the creators feel dishonest. This is especially important when the title and topic of the show is "Bullshit". They were expecting the audience to believe that there were no clothes, which turned out to be bullshit. This girl should not have accepted a job she was unwilling to do.
I think one thing you seem to be missing is the point he made about professionalism. If it were any other job, which had called for an uncomfortable situation to be performed, and you were explicitly hired for that purpose in mind, you should deliver. She most likely made more money for the simple fact of the job requiring full nudity. This is a business transaction, and she should have had the dignity to do what it was she was contracted to do. People are hire and know the requirement. Before even working there are contracts that specifically list the role in the show. The same can said for foul language and political humor. A person knows what he or she is signed up to do. Basically she did not do her job. She was fully advised prior to taping.

You wouldn't be mad because you didn't hire the designer to paint the back of a wall. The girl wasn't hired to be topless, she was hired (1:50) to be FULLY nude, not topless (3:18). Professional adults (4:00) do not do this. They didn't trick someone into being naked on a show, she found out that the show (4:22, 5:00) was LOOKING for fully nude, and then she went to work on the show. She changed the job she was hired for (6:00). The problem isn't that she wasn't nude, it's that she LIED.

I completely disagree. It's petty to quibble over whats in the contract when the director has decided the waist down shot will not be used. Keeping your employees comfortable is very important to get the best out of them. Now, if she'd refused to be naked when they wanted a shot of her from the waist down, I'd agree she was a bad employee As it stands I think you'd be a bad employer.

Wow, one of the few times I have to disagree with Penn. Penn said, himself, that she was not going to be shown below the waist so how out of line is it for the model to simply ask not to be nude unnecessarily. Now I wasn't there and wouldn't know the tone either of them had while shooting the skit but it seems Penn seems angry for no reason. I think one thing you seem to be missing is the point he made about professionalism. If it were any other job, which had called for an uncomfortable situation to be performed, and you were explicitly hired for that purpose in mind, you should deliver. She most likely made more money for the simple fact of the job requiring full nudity. This is a business transaction, and she should have had the dignity to do what it was she was contracted to do. hahaha, good point on the end of the video there; I totally agree that it's frustrating for pen when he has to deal with unprofessionals, and it wouldn't be good if unprofessionals would be frequent in their show, but - poor woman, she's just a human. don't hire those people and that's it. we are all humans and we all make mistakes.

I love the idea of actually earning money from unburdening yourself. The poor get stressed and nobody listens to them. The rich get stressed and they hire people to listen to them but Penn gets stressed and gets people to pay him because other people watch him sorting out his problems for himself. I'm so envious.

i agree penn.
i do understand her point of view, and it didnt really matter if she was fully nude or not.
but the fact is that she signed up to do something that i assume she is getting paid to do, and then decides she doesnt want to do wat she signed up to do to get paid to do! thats wrong.
i cant go to my job and say to my boss "hey, since theres not really that many customers here do i need to be at the service desk?" because thats wat i signed up for and am paid to do.
