Its actually even more simple than that. All you have to do is film him jumping, and then from the same angle film the car driving. Then with the computer you add the two together so it looks like it was done at the same time. Its actually really easy to do (Adobe After Effects), which is why there's a million "car jump" videos on Youtube, and they're all fake.
