Dude, are you really as dumb as you sound? If we (NU) would have won the Big 12 then we wouldn't have gone to the national championship. We would have gone to the Fiesta Bowl, and chances are, Texas would still have gone to BCS bowl because they were still an at-large team.
I cannot tell you how stoked I am for the game next fall in Lincoln. It's gonna be epic. Our defense is only going to get better, even without Suh. Texas won't even be able to muster a single touchdown.
