Willie Nelson and Stevie have covered Dave Matthews songs. I think you guys underestimate Dave's song writing ability. I'm the biggest DMB fan, but ironically enough I don't like this song at all.

There are only a few exceptions where a cover is better then the original. The rest fall into a catagory of either close or way off target. This one is sadly way off target. The talk of her being around longer then Dave is in no way a valid argument to her case. In my opinion, she did no credit to that amazing song.

I only have one thing to say Stevie Nicks has been around in the business WAYYYY longer than DMB and Dave Matthews should have been nothing but honored that such a legend would have covered his song. No one can do a song better than the original (at least not normally) but her version is great for how she did it :)

Yes Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac have a lot too, but they're pretty much on equal footing. Ask any 15-35 year old person if they know DMB, then Stevie Nicks....Dave Matthews would win by far
