  • The jump in gun buying in the States in 2008 was caused by the gun waving crowd being paranoid that Obama was going to bring in gun control rather than any economic considerations.

  • First a depression, then a war.

The trouble is, we've been at war for twice as long as WW2 already.

How many more wars can we have?

If we attack Iran, we're talking WW3. You have to wonder what idiots we have in government.

  • February 09, 2009 7.6%---- 14.5% here 16% Now? September 2009 9.7%--------16.8% unemployment rate 6 months look at the yield in both categories 2.1%------2.3% My guess from this that hits 12%-19% by 01-05-10. It would have to be. California hits 22%-27% Spring 2010. By these numbers and the pattern forming these 6/12 months, now with all the stimulus dollar help included. Not good.
  • check out the Oath Keepers! I really like seeing the boys in blue and military speaking out and waking each other up. Reaching out to these guys and waking them up will be a crucial part of getting America back i think.

  • it does make one feel somewhat better

  • That statement about equipping armies doesn't sound like it means anything.

Equip the armies for how long?

What exactly do they mean by "equip"?

If we add up the number of guns bought by Americans, does that add up to the amount of guns in possession of the Chinese and Indian armies?

How many guns are destroyed in combat?

How many guns does it really take to equip an army? Wouldn't that depend upon numerous factors (such as the nature and length of a given conflict)?

    It's just rhetoric.

  • they are massive countries so at a minimum it would have to be i dunno as american soldiers are there on the ground at least that twice.

    Alot for one year

  • really...well even if that is true, does it matter who speaks the truth as long as we hear it...or must we listen to you bitch about who said it first...find a real cause

  • this isn't the fall of the roman empire, this is the end of history, if you ask me.

    the ass-end of time itself.

the global "village" and its global marketplace is going to collapse, and descend into chaos.

"....for nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom."

the population of the world has skyrocketed in the last 100 yrs.

With the collapse of the global food trade, and local food trades due to political instability, there will be FAMINES.

  • So what does Matthew 24 state again?

That the end will be marked by: "nation against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All this will be the beginning of the birth pangs."

For me, the clincher will be the earthquakes.

If we see planet earth starting to act in a VERY terrifying manner, you know that it is time to officially SHIT YOUR PANTS.

  • Gerald in the man... I get your point...but, can't we just scream bloody murder, or something to that effect. instead?

I would prefer to meet my maker with clean underwear!

I loved your comment...I laughed my ass off...

  • wars_cannot_happen_without_warriors._would_i_play_a_game_of_chess_without_pawns?

  • I watched videos with Celente in 2007 and he did not predict this crisis whatsoever. He predicted it after it started happening.

Then in 2008, he said the economy would be completely in ruins by this summer. He said that it would be hard for Americans to find meals this year. Why aren't they talking about his false predictions?

  • "The wisest prophets make sure of the event first." Horace Walpole

  • you are such an ass ... because You motherfucker, you don't listen well... listen it again.. and see.. now..nearsighted fucker.

  • RedFishEye , it's you i am talking about

  • sorry RedFishEye but you are dead wrong. I've been reading the Trends Journal since 2002. You can even go to the site a read archived journals that will once again prove you are a dumbass. I'm glad you feel the need to hop on here and spread something false, haha. Shows your dedication to honest discussion and the truth....

  • Every war when it comes, or before it comes, is represented not as a war but as an act of self-defense against a homicidal maniac.

    George Orwell

  • M=Man

    W=Woman

    W: Celente is waxing ominous.

M: Ha,ha. I know. He's my personal prophet. I have a little doll with is likeness and I keep it in a private doll house chaple I built.

W: You're a weirdo. You gonna open a Crumb Bun store like he says?

M: He says jump, I say how high? I've invested my life savings in wheat, flour, sugar and salt to make tasty crumb buns by the tons!

    W: You're a real hard-core Celente follower.

M: Peace thorugh Crumb Buns forever.

  • lol man

  • we're not gonna hit the streets until the tv tells us to hit the streets because that's how hypnotized we are.

  • Hey! I live in Singa.. aw shit..

  • If this does become the greatest depression, I sure hope that Michael Moore suffers greatly. I'd love to see him starving!

  • My sentiments exactly.

How a man like him can rail against capitalism, yet own shares in Haliburton and own several mansions throughout the US is beyond me.

He is the epitome of hypocrisy.

  • the thing that bugs me, is what has happened the last year isn't capitalism, it's crony capitalism or fascism. Massive government intervention is not capitalism. If they had let the big banks fail in the late 80s, 90s and now, we wouldn't be in this mess.

  • Well said, if only Michael Moore knew the definition of capitalism includes bankruptcy not politicians writing checks.

  • I don't agree with MM on every point but he's done some good work. Roger & Me, and Sicko were very well done. Why do you hate him anyway? Because some neocon talkshow hose loudmouth says so? That seems to be the typical reason.

  • I hate him for his views, not what someone tells me to think. Fat shit like him could use a good dose of pancreatic cancer. I'd rather see him dead than Patrick Swayzee

  • That's pretty harsh. You should be more careful about wishing evil on someone. Anyone. It will come back to you in unforseen and dark ways. Whatever you inject into the universe comes full circle back to you. One day you'll learn that.

  • BTW, that goes double for the people who pulled off the greatest bank heist in history. Geithner, Greenspan, Bernanke, Paulson, Lewis, Blankfein, all of them...Justice will catch up with all of them for their crimes. Hopefully it won't be in the form of mob violence, but will occur inside our criminal justice system and justice will dished out fairly and impartially for all the world to see, but, even if it's at the hands of the mob, they will be judged. You can count on it.

  • I vote for the mob. Dismemberments, Decapitations. Mass KAOS

  • I hope you're right, and I wish it comes true, but I have a bad feeling that not a damn thing will ever happen to these guys and they are going to live long, happy, and very wealthy and comfortable lives at the expense of the rest of us. There will be no justice in our lifetme.

  • We all wont be able to get along in the coming dark ages, unfortunetly.

Its what the nwo goons want, and sooner or later thats what it turns into....and thats order out of choas!

  • The only thing I disagree with Gerald on is that the revolution will be both intellectual and violent. The violence will come into play when people don't have enough to eat.

  • Haha. I don't think Oprah will be having Gerald Celente on anytime soon.

  • I live in France, and it's true : what the hell are americans waiting for, come on guys, over hear all hell's gonno unleash it'elf if these NWO start screwing the people... and it's allready on the way : OFF WITH THE NWO HEADS !!!

  • I live in Arkansas and we are waiting for Texas to secede from the union.

  • Man my wife and would LOVE to live in France someday... It is our dream...we fell in love with France when we vacationed in Paris a few years ago... We currently live in California...I wonder if living in France will be much better quality of life and happiness than living in the US?

  • James Howard Kunstler devoted an enitre webcast to the pros and cons of moving to France. If you are serious you should check it out: KunstlerCast #79: Packin' For France.

  • GREAT...Thank You Very Much...We will definitely check it out.

  • Well what to say ? Come on over bro. I've been living here for the last 42 years (i'm canadian). France is a weird country, but they do have one thing going for them : they have no faith in politicians (even though they elect them), and they are ungouvernable individualists. The NWO is going to have a hard time with the french i can tell you that much ! So, just put some cash asside (while it still has some value) and come on over bro !

  • Can you give us an idea of how you make the move? Maybe direct us to a website? I would think that you can't just show up and call it home. We're planning a trip next summer to see where we would like to live. We're thinking in the South. Provence? Nice? We've heard some good things about Lyon to the North. The other problem is jobs, That may be the deal breaker there. My wife is a Dental Hygienist & I work in Corporate Organizational Development. Maybe we wouldnt have to work so hard there.

  • Do you both speak french ? Hard to work here without being fluent. Comming over on holidays to do a recon job is a good idea, that will allow you guys to get the feel

of things. However you must both realize that France is a slow country unless you have good business relations. I'm a free lance musician. It took me a few years to get rid of my canadian overtones. Perhaps it would be faster for you guys because of your job qualifications. Last thing : it takes courage to pack up and leave.

  • France has an excellent quality of family life. Short working holidays. Many holidays.

    It's idyllic for children.

I know a professor who emigrated from the UK to France last year - to bring up her daughter in a better environment.

    So go for it.

The French Govt is very afraid of the French people - so working conditons are great.

The French Health service is free and the best in the world. I had a doctor visit me at my hotel - she arrived in 30 mins. Awesome!!

  • A mindfull revolution, he says ?! If people have guns when they are starving, out of work and no roof over their heads, shit man, your gonna see some fast shooting... talk about peacefull revolution !!!!

  • I agree; I don't see how there could be an intellectual rev'n. Don't get me wrong, I would love it if we could overthrow the system simply with powerful words and ideals. Unfortunately it will not happen, because the tyrants will resist our every attempt. History taught us this.

I am from Europe and my birth country has seen many revolutions against multiple oppressors. My blood is boiling as I write this and I would fight for this great country with every ounce of my strength if I had to.

  • Intellectual revolution always occurs after and during political revolutions we just may not live to see it. It is always delayed since tremendous pain is almost always required for intellectual revolution.

  • many are awaking and wil rip it up when led!

  • How bad do things have to get for people to lose it?

what do you think? I think they have to have really hungry kids...or sick...

  • None of those at a guess.

It will be seeing others standing against the nonsense we're being told by Governments.

Once a handful make a stand, the resistance to government will snowball.

  • the end is near.. we will all be living more simply soon.. the seeds of destruction were planted back in the reagan administration, or what it woodrow wilson?

  • the seeds were planted in 1912 with the creation of the Federal reserve, the water and fertilizer was added in the nixon admin when the dollar was taken off the gold standard.

  • Or the start.

The start of us all realising how much the media and lobbying groups have manipulated the last 2 generations.

But the internet has busted that wide open.

So maybe the start of true democracy is nearer today, than ever.

  • Finally some one who is saying the same as what I have been saying for awhile now regarding the second dark ages and the wars yet to come.

The first of these wars will be regional as governments bow to the demands by their populations for food and energy. After several years there will be a big one but by then things will be very bad.

  • oc5nsli341nforce4 : I agree, however i'm wondering what the big picture will be : local wars (civil war), conventional war is more profitable as neucs destroy everything... and no one will be able to gain anything if the whole world goes up in ashes. What kind of outcome do you see if war is just arround the corner ?!

  • If there is a major war there will be no winners just losers and survivors but with out it things will get better much sooner.

  • oc5nsli341nforce4 : One other thing, bro. It's allways been wars after economical debacles, but today people have a different mind set : no one can say with certitude what will happen. There is an awakaning on the planet that has never been seen in history. So, who knows what the outcome may be !

  • So, thank you, America. You were the beacon of freedom to the world. It is a privilege merely to stand on this soil of freedom while it is still free. But, in the next few weeks, unless you stop it, your president will sign your freedom, your democracy, and your humanity away forever. And neither you nor any subsequent government you may elect will have any power whatsoever to take it back. That is how serious it is. Ive read the treaty. Ive seen this stuff about [world] government...

  • The word government actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity. The second purpose is the transfer of wealth from the countries of the West to third world countries, in satisfication of what is called, coyly, climate debt because weve been burning CO2 and they havent. Weve been screwing up the climate and they havent. And the third purpose of this new entity, this government, is enforcement.

DECEMBER is the month for this TREATY - Copenhagen.

  • Moncktons (Lord Monckton - advisor to Margaret Thatcher): At [the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference in] Copenhagen, this December, weeks away, a treaty will be signed. Your president will sign it. I read that treaty. And what it says is this, that a world government is going to be created.
