I tried walking her to the park but she runs away or tries to scratch other dogs from smelling her butt. And play dates but she just barks at them. Every time i walk... Its very difficult. She is 1 years old and a fox Pomeranian. Any tips?

Yup. Puppy play dates are good. So are puppy classes. Dog parks really ARE a crap shoot, pun not intended. My dogs got canine influenza at the dog park, and my sheltie got attacked by a golden retriever all on the same day. Then when we were leaving, we met a couple bringing in a dog they said had attacked several dogs the last time they had it there, so they brought it back to see how it would do this time. Not good!

well.. my pup is 12 weeks old.. and she bearly has hair.. so if i take her out its a possibility that she will get ill.. and.. shes only had her 1st vacination done..

my APBT is 4 months old and we've tried to socialize him as much as possible, with 2 walks everyday to the same park, where there are other dogs, but he's starting to show some agression towards them, growling and trying to attack them, thank God we never have him unleashed. And he likes strangers, but he doesn't let them touch him. How do I get him to have the confidence to let people approach??
