I don't think there's any real quests, but there are various things to buy for it or locate in order to use features in the tower. you can put it on the floor were the book cases are. i did it and then i upgraded it fully and only my books i put there were there. while the cupboard and chest was empty. i dont know if equipment and stuff works but i know if you put the books with the other books that they will stay there. the best sigil stone to use for armor and rings and such is modify health and modify magicka. while feather is a good one with chameleon for 2 different suits to keep.
can you just dupe the sigil stones from the gates? like arent all the stones the same?
i just completed the first one and used the stone but i have a save in hell so i can redo it all. i have been killing and leveling up a lot and i really distract my self in games so objectives rarely get done lol
@LAYITLOOSE - Yes you can, if you like. However, without spoiling the game, there will come a time when you can't get any more sigil stones, so this trick might be useful if you've reached that point and still want to get some.
@LAYITLOOSE no not all are same. you can get health damage anchantment, fire, frost, shock, and you can get spell absorbtion, feather, fortify skills, attributes, magicka, health, fatigue, ect. and they get more powerful with each number of levels

@skinripper10 - If you go into the doors I said not to go into, you'll just keep falling and falling for infinity and can't do anything except reload an old save or start over. You won't die, because you won't hit anything. I'm not sure any of the other doors (that are closed) can even be entered, other than the ones I went thru in the video.

When I did this glitch my game glitch pretty bad every time I walk in a cave or fort area I would see giant yellow (!) things would show up and I would fall into the map and die (I can't complete the knights of the nine quest becasue of this I never respone back when I get the mace I just keep falling till I die . @kingofpwns - It sounds like your machine may have downloaded a bad copy of the tower once you were done with the trick -- you need to re-install the wizard's tower back up once you've deleted it. Bethesda had a similar problem when it released a bad version of an addon for Fallout 3, there were red [ ! ] signs everywhere for missing textures.. I'd re-download the tower add-on again, it would be free the second time.
@dustmatfilmz what do you mean buy all your stuff again? all the inside stuff for the tower cuz i have lots of deadric stuff in my inventory and dont want to loose it.
@dinoateme - In that general area. If you stand somewhere else in that room, such as on the other side of the plants near the hallway, you'll just fall and fall and fall in blackness forever and have to restart the process.
@shook151 - Just go into the game, to the downloads area, and look for it on the PS3 online shop, should tell you there the available addons. I dunno if you can or not, I assume so. I don't think any of the add-ons are exclusive to any system.
@KieranDysonTV - You can't enchant an item that's already enchanted, if that's what you're asking. You have to pick from a list of available items when in the enchanting menu, and it will only show items that are available in your possession that can be enchanted (rather than just picking from your complete inventory), and items already enchanted won't show up on that list.
u kno, there's a way to do this without the download, allthough it takes longer, just go into an oblivion gate do all the shit blah blah blah, walk up to the sigil ston, save ur game, then take the stone, as soon as it says, "Transcendant watever" added, look at it, and if its a crap one straight away load ur save BEFORE it takes u bak to cyrodil and keep trying for a better stone
@mcrxtbp - not really anything as far as goodies, but there are places to explore. There's a long bridge out in the middle of nowhere, and a large-ish city that has some weird clipping issues, not to mention miles and miles of plain flat-land =P
@99jjyy - whether you get a chameleon isn't based on how many times you've tried to get it already, it's always just a random draw. it doesn't cycle through ones you've already drawn, it's random every time.
yeah but when you do this it gives u every kind right? cuz i did this and i didnt get a chemeleon but then i did it again at a higher lvl and got a 30%
Btw sorry to repost, but on the wiki page i put up, it says this: When it gives you the Sigil Stone, check your inventory, you'll see every type of Sigil Stone available at your level (i.e., a level 17+ character will receive one copy of each transcendent Sigil Stone). so at least 17 to get every type of stone I guess
You get every type of stone, as far as chameleon/etc (type) stones, not as far as transcendent/etc (kind). You don't get every kind, just the kind that corresponds to your level.
uhm idont think so cause cause you need to remove the addon and ps3 has a normal version and a game of the year version with all the addons so there are no addons to download.
2 more things i noticed every sigil stone you get for this gives you plus 1 fame so if you had an empty inventory you could get like 1000 fame and second this while this glitch is fully functional and i dont mean to be rude by saying this but this glitch has made the game a little less fun for me being able to beat everything in less then 2 minutes

im going to add another noob question to the pile but do you think it would be possible to somehow reach all the testing areas by travelling up with the paintbrush glitch or going under with the morrowind glitch and just..... bump into it somehow xD
I've actually got a paintbrush tower I'm working on for a future video, but it's not "underneath" the geographic location for that room. I doubt it's technically above or below, but instead just a software backdoor of somekind =P
I think the character it was filmed with was at least 5 or 6 (but a certain level isn't required, I just leveled up so I could handle the fall damage), and I'm not positive it can be repeated. I tried it again once and it didn't work for me, but someone else in the comments claimed it did for them, IIRC. I would save at least 1 or 2 of each stone, for later duping.
Look up "console commands" for Oblivion PC instead of wasting your time with these. x360 and PS3 don't have that option. You can just type in things and instantly get an item, instead of using a trick. I'm baffled that you didn't already know that =P
only thing I can think of is if you've got treasures stored in any chests inside the tower -- they all get deleted. Otherwise it's harmless, as far as I know.
You only purchase things once, afterward they're free to re-download again, forever, providing you downloading them with the same account you bought it from.

well rolling them down stuff may be entertaining, but they're more helpful than that. at an altar of enchanting, you can use them to enchant your armor and weapons with the effects that the particular sigil stone offers.
nope, only knights of the nine and shivering isles comes with GOTY. I thought so at first (and assumed it would) but it wasn't there when I got it myself.
I doubt it has one. I traveled around it a little myself. You can go pretty far to the east-south-east and there's another large city with a bridge (kinda like the one that goes across the south end of the big imperial lake) just out in the middle of nowhere, and a couple large buildings, but no special items.

When i did this. and i redownloaded mage tower. Averything worked like a charm. But i cant buy the upgrades from the woman in Imp City. Or am I just unlucky to catch her everytime shes on break? Cause i can enter a buy menu. But its empty cause ive bought everything.
WORKS ON PC! Just tried it but when i load the game after disabling the mod, i appear a bit away from the cabin.. i just had to type "~" then "tcl" to reach the cabin then again "~", "tcl" and the rest went as you described.. Thanks man, your video really helped! :D
ive only just done this glitch on my xbox, i used the chameleon 15% sigil stones to make my armour invisible, but its only 15% invisible, is there a way to make it 100%??
If you want 100% Chameleon you have to enchant a RING, then duplicate it TWICE. Then equip ONE, use the duplication glitch on the one that's NOT equipped. Then look at your magic screen and you should see it even though you dropped it when you tried to duplicate it.
If you have high-speed net and a 360, then you can get Xbox live for free. A silver account will still access updates and addons, you just can't play against people in games.

im going to add another noob question to the pile but do you think it would be possible to somehow reach all the testing areas by travelling up with the paintbrush glitch or going under with the morrowind glitch and just..... bump into it somehow xD

I've actually got a paintbrush tower I'm working on for a future video, but it's not "underneath" the geographic location for that room. I doubt it's technically above or below, but instead just a software backdoor of somekind =P

erm quick question or 2 1st what level was ur char 4 this and is this glitch repeatable?

I think the character it was filmed with was at least 5 or 6 (but a certain level isn't required, I just leveled up so I could handle the fall damage), and I'm not positive it can be repeated. I tried it again once and it didn't work for me, but someone else in the comments claimed it did for them, IIRC. I would save at least 1 or 2 of each stone, for later duping.

You can get to the testing hall in the 360, search TheDevil1992 and go to his channel. It involves PC transferring though :(

There's a tower in the game (the mage university tower) after finishing the mage guild quest line, but that's not the wizard's tower as shown here.

it doesn't come with the expansion pack. you have to buy it through Xbox Live (or the PS3 version of that).

Look up "console commands" for Oblivion PC instead of wasting your time with these. x360 and PS3 don't have that option. You can just type in things and instantly get an item, instead of using a trick. I'm baffled that you didn't already know that =P

only thing I can think of is if you've got treasures stored in any chests inside the tower -- they all get deleted. Otherwise it's harmless, as far as I know.

well rolling them down stuff may be entertaining, but they're more helpful than that. at an altar of enchanting, you can use them to enchant your armor and weapons with the effects that the particular sigil stone offers.

I doubt it has one. I traveled around it a little myself. You can go pretty far to the east-south-east and there's another large city with a bridge (kinda like the one that goes across the south end of the big imperial lake) just out in the middle of nowhere, and a couple large buildings, but no special items.

just go to the far left of the platform looking slightly above the stone then jump, activate it then look down and quickly press a when you see the door (rapidly tap a lol)

When i did this. and i redownloaded mage tower. Averything worked like a charm. But i cant buy the upgrades from the woman in Imp City. Or am I just unlucky to catch her everytime shes on break? Cause i can enter a buy menu. But its empty cause ive bought everything.

WORKS ON PC! Just tried it but when i load the game after disabling the mod, i appear a bit away from the cabin.. i just had to type "~" then "tcl" to reach the cabin then again "~", "tcl" and the rest went as you described.. Thanks man, your video really helped! :D

Without the wizard's tower addon, there won't be a tower there to go inside, just an empty snowy mountain area.

ive only just done this glitch on my xbox, i used the chameleon 15% sigil stones to make my armour invisible, but its only 15% invisible, is there a way to make it 100%??

If you want 100% Chameleon you have to enchant a RING, then duplicate it TWICE. Then equip ONE, use the duplication glitch on the one that's NOT equipped. Then look at your magic screen and you should see it even though you dropped it when you tried to duplicate it.

If you have high-speed net and a 360, then you can get Xbox live for free. A silver account will still access updates and addons, you just can't play against people in games.
