  • good stuff man really works nice

  • the drum samples - no good. Final mix - too deep, buried in low frequencies.

  • when u gonna do some more of this siytek?

  • please upload somewhere mp3 of this. nice track

  • good work son.

  • Very awesome work dude.

    Respect.

  • All I gotta say is keep it up man keep it up

  • Love this Track, esp. the recording of every instrument!

But the Bass is a little bit quietly.

  • wow i loved this :)

  • This is a Syler from "Heroes" LOL ))))

  • wow that's a great job man!!!

    Let a drummer tell u...

u dont play very well some instrument (especially bass)

but the general result is a very interesting track and,

more important, completely original and recorded only by u.

  • Great stuff, You're good.

  • you started off nice, but at 0:40 you just ruined it :S LOL

  • you clicked on drum n bass?

  • yes, yes I did, and I was expecting some true drum n bass, derived from jungle you know ?

Rastafarian vocals, not some american slag with a disgusting, fake emotional voice..

  • can i get this on wax? *drool*

  • MASSIVE!!!

  • awesome drums

  • You are a fucking badass mother fucker!! OMG that was an awesome tune. And in a music store! how awesome is that?!

  • you have to work on the bass ;)

or take the effect of sounds like very fast flange/phase

  • uff muy bueno vale!!!!!!

  • Are you playing in a music store? That's awesome.

  • Nice job, I try using the software approach, but am confined to using a mouse

  • everything sounded sick apart from the bass... maybe go with a nice sine synth bass with some twang instead of an actual guitar? or just fix the sounds

  • youre lookin very cool while playing the bass :)

  • wow now thats how you do it

  • cool man ;)

  • nice..... are electronic kits touch sensitive?

  • no, they are tottaly numb...

  • well, that depends on how much you want to spend.

  • this music needs recording and sending off!!!!!! now!!!!! i want this track. well done i loved the harmonics flow on the key board (almost goldie) including the drum seperations and stalls. some realy clever stuff very intersting to listen to...... you have a gift!

  • Very nice! Good job man.

  • u'maco di segrate!

  • reminds me a lot of london electricity live :D

  • Whoa!Thats talent!

  • THis is a great track man! Great writing!

  • Real Gurdd Blud =D

  • im lovin this video, i had a similar idea (except i was gonna use objects found up the pub to create the music lol - kinda like stomp)

and im lovin the track, cant go wrong with abit of piano thrown in with the drum and bass

  • DUDE! Are you at work the whole time? You need to get busy! (lol)

  • I show customers these videos, it sells products! ;)

  • great angle! I bet you get alot of gig offers too.

  • SOUNDS NICE CUZ

  • I'm sure that's not him singing LOL

    *joke* ;-)

    BRAVO!

  • oh man - you are very talented. im wholly impressed with this. (your moog synth shirt is pretty rad too xD)

ps - lol wherre are you? in sears?

  • awsome @!

  • Very cool. It's great to see a producer using this method. For this track, I recommend that the bassline be lower pitched and the drum samples be thicker and heartier. It's a great drum sequence, but the drum samples sound like they came with the vDrums.

    Big respect man.

  • thanks for the tip :) I didnt pay too much attention to post prod, and in the past 18 months I have been building my audio/visual studio (quit the day job in the vid) and am thinking about shooting a pro vid ...we have a Canon XL2 camera, lighting and a white background now!

  • FOOKIN ELL awesome

  • he's good indeed:-)

he's lucky to have those things

  • one man army!!!

    brawo!! niezla robota!

  • quality man! that's all i can say...wow

  • hey man this is sooo good can u send me the song please? if you have it...

  • Thats awesome.

  • word up to the nerd up, thats tight stuff yo

  • Well done ! Nice work

  • live dnb its all about love stuff...ADN I LOVE THAT!!!! cause its easy beein a dj....but live dnb ....it's a band out there...the thing is different...is da true thangz!!!

  • how is it easy to be a DJ?

  • shit..i don't really know :D but u know ... a band needs more work than a DJ...so...

  • no man dj

  • its easy to be a DJ, thats why I started production ...but learning to scratch properly is as hard as learning the piano

  • quality m8, people like you keeping the d'n'b flavour alive. outstanding 5*

  • DnB live must be hard for a drummer :)

  • Well done man ^^

Most would use a Groovebox or such for the bass.

I guess you do spend all day in a music shop though, you have enough time to practice :P

  • off key?? no the drummin isnt... nothin is... i've been drummin for over 10 years and doin d'n'b for 2... there is nothin out of time here.. these people dont know what they're talkih about.. nice work mate.

  • only thing out of time is the LFO effect on the bass... the main progression of the tune is 4/4 so the lfo of the effect should be in a multiple of 4.. thats what i think,,, it may just sound wrong cos of youtubes shit quality conversion

  • love the way you get all these smart ass comments telling you it's off key or rest your hand on your ass cos I'm an expert.

    Anyways nice tune :)

  • freggin great dude.. you could be a fuggin rockin on raves all over dude.

  • good work, but the drums are shite.

  • theb ass needs redoing

  • I could have done a much phatter/deeper bassline on one of my synths but I wanted to include as many different instruments in the vid for the sake of entertainment

  • Ah, the difference between v-drums and acoustic for drum & bass projects.

  • Love Live music but also love drum & bass. Great video, good sound too.

  • Wow you play all those musical instruments. that is fantastic. and the tune is fantastic hope you dont mind but i might sample that piano tune.

  • off key

  • I would disagree, its not off key ...so says the piano salesman ..ie me

  • nice track, you should work on your bass technique though.

instead of resting your hand on the top of the bass, anchor your hand by resting your thumb on the top of the pickup. Good to see you not using a plectrum though ;)

  • cool :) thanks, will give it a blast next time I pick up the bass.

  • really?

floating thumb is a much more efficient use of energy, keeps the wrist straight and keeps the plucking position of the hand constant. also mutes the lower strings.

and what's wrong with using a pick?

is carol kaye a bad bassist?

  • It looks like he played half the instruments in a store. Thats how you become a real musician. Real musician's never buy their instruments.

  • Lol...

  • Hi siytek! Very good job! I loved it. Keep up!

  • WICKED!

  • cool, like it =)

  • wow...musical geinus, i love it!!

  • That's the talent! Keep up, bro.

  • bravo!

  • Wow label material for sure.

  • wow...

    nice.

    very talented indeed!

  • Really great stuff .

  • very talented

  • OMG Simon! Its Al from Roland! What are the odds?

  • lol, not that it matters now but I hope no one found out my typical day in Debenhams Gloucester! lol

  • Shame the vocals suck big time, cause you're doing a good job.

  • Don't know why, but I don't actually believe you are playing all instruments. Seems fake to me

  • i totaly agree with you!!!

  • there is a slight timing error with this video for some reason and the audio is ever so slightly out of sync with the video, if you dont believe im playing go watch some of my other videos

  • did have any effects on your bass? cuz it sounded super deep, and awesome

  • hope but I EQed the audio for each video in the track ...so would have worked the bass and shaped the tone of the sound a bit after recording the audio

  • Are you really playing the drum track?

    It isn't sampled?

That's the most amazing drumming I've ever heard, seriously.

  • it's probably sped up

  • no. but the videos are looped

  • yeh I did play for real, although I added a little echo after it was recorded. this drumming is nothing tho man, if you wanna see some really really awesome dnb drummin go search for kj sawka!!

  • @siytek i agree...kj sawka is siiiick

  • I like how you played each thing and put it all to gether.

  • This is THE music!

  • This is brilliant, how did you get away with doing it at debenhams?

  • this rock

  • i watched this for the first time today on a PC and its really out of time. im sure it seems worse on the pc than my mac. im going to leave it on here but im not happy with it being out of sync :s i had to screen capture the vid and sync the audio after, Ableton doesnt export .movs yet :(( !!

  • really good tune man... congrats!

  • Hey what are you doing with a moog t-shirt!!!

Don't you work for Roland? What a traitor!!!

I kid, I kid, you are a great musician.

    LOL

  • Awsome!! had it in ma head all day lol

  • nice!! where did you get the vocals from? love ya work siytek :-)

  • drum breakdown @~1'45 nice! good tune. Your drumming is sweet mate and the piano is awesome.

  • Heh... that's the best thing to ever come out of debenhams that's for sure.

  • its actually debenhams :) same place I recorded 'bruce hornsby piano'

  • The background at the beginning looks like Sam Ash music store.
