@MrMets80 So true - Turkish women are the world's nurterers and savers - they are fantastic at looking after kids (to an amazingly high standard), their cooking is second to none, they are incredibly selfless/patient, they just 'get on with it' unlike us western women who are way too high maintenance. @BiOlm hehe. no worries. Turkey is diverse but generally speaking the cultural norms are gender specific. Women are expected to be the home/children care takers while men are the bread winners. Women are expected to keep an immaculate house and support their men. It's a collectivst culture, not individulistic which is found in the west. Women cook, clean, raise kids, but also have rights. Its not abusive but most western women can't take it. I tried with an aussie girl. Its how ur raised.

Who is the guy at 0:50? He is very hansome. I find Greek men much more masculine, athlletic and attractive than Turkish men. I've visited Greece and Turkey and they are both lovely people. Turks look like they have some Asian admixture - short legs, flat butt and long body. Greeks and Cypriots look hot to me.

I worked in Turkey as a Holiday Rep in the mid 90s - I married a Turkish guy and lived in Ankara with his family for 3 years - I am now divorced and have 2 amazingly beautiful and intelligent children to this guy - CROSS-CULTURAL MARRIAGES DO NOT WORK - Turkish men are meant to be with Turkish women - the Islamic thing is too full-on and I don't drink! I love Turkey and I love Turkish people BUT don't be seduced :))

@spikeyisland70 I'm an Australian born Turk and I must say I agree with you 100%. Even though I was born and raised here, the way we are brought up is very different. I could not maintain my relationship here and have decided to go back to Turkey and find a bride there. Cultural differences mean a lot. It's the small things, but over time they really matter. @MrMets80 So true - Turkish women are the world's nurterers and savers - they are fantastic at looking after kids (to an amazingly high standard), their cooking is second to none, they are incredibly selfless/patient, they just 'get on with it' unlike us western women who are way too high maintenance. @BiOlm hehe. no worries. Turkey is diverse but generally speaking the cultural norms are gender specific. Women are expected to be the home/children care takers while men are the bread winners. Women are expected to keep an immaculate house and support their men. It's a collectivst culture, not individulistic which is found in the west. Women cook, clean, raise kids, but also have rights. Its not abusive but most western women can't take it. I tried with an aussie girl. Its how ur raised.

Who is the guy at 0:50? He is very hansome. I find Greek men much more masculine, athlletic and attractive than Turkish men. I've visited Greece and Turkey and they are both lovely people. Turks look like they have some Asian admixture - short legs, flat butt and long body. Greeks and Cypriots look hot to me.

the turkish men are greeks anyway. There is nothing like a turk in turkey(anatolia) They are all mixed. Greek, bulgarian, armenian, gypse etc. A pure turk is an central asian, these are not. The turks are greeks.

@Toysoldier1999 It doesn't really matter, central asian men, greek men etc. All got intermarried. Maybe 3-5% of turkeys population have pure turkish DNA. Jansarries were kids that the ottoman turks took away from families in Balkan countries and grew them up in turkey as turks and turkish citizens, and they were used to fight against the balkan countries. By the way i'm a kurd, not greek. And please define what you mean with rule. what did the ottomans rule, what didn't they rule.

@MissAvatar2011 because we lived 2000 years ago in the land that now called mongolia...we were nomadic people that lived together with mongols, Goguryeo (koreans) and nipponjins (japanese) so some people just confuse us for mongolians because we lived with them, but we are turks, different tribe
