Yes, I did play this piece. What do you mean, "consideration"?

  • @nikmedt

I think he means you should credit yourself.

  • @KV467 I've just posted it yesterday. Just check it out when you have time.:))

  • @KV467 Thanks for your sympathy. I did play it for my final Bachelor exam, it was not so bad :)). I'll try to post it on Youtube, i just have audio recording of it.

  • This is great! Have you tried the last movement of Prokoviev's 7th sonata? There are some similarities... I'm learnt it hands separately and now together, but getting it up to speed is another matter!

  • i'll play it for my final exam of bachelor. Thanks alot for your wish. and for your post too.^^

  • Actually I can still handle the 10th or lots of bit 9th chords in the middle section but the end is a REAL trouble because some chords in the left hand require to be played really loud that if I stretch it can't be that loud, shit. I wish that I have a bigger hand.

  • @caothanhlan

yes, I forgot about those - quite tough. Good luck with the piece - I look forward to seeing your video on youtube.

  • I'm playing it to though my hand can only reach 9th comfortably, 10th with difficulty. It's so hard to stay in tempo, I always tend to speed up. It takes so much time just to learn the note.

  • @caothanhlan

yeah - the middle section specifically says non-arpeggiated, but if you can't reach it, you just gotta roll it or leave out some notes. I'm fortunate enough to have big hands, but there are some REAL awkward stretches, especially when the hands are crossed.

    Patience and perseverance!

  • It´s a great performance, congratulations

  • could you tell me how difficult this piece is? do you need big hands to play it? i would soo much like to play it too. ^^

  • The piece is extremely difficult - certainly the hardest piece I've ever learned. Just learning the notes is a huge endeavor. The middle section with the chords has 10ths and ligeti specifically writes "non-arpeggio". Although the big stretches are really the least of your problems.

  • ok than it is too hard for me i guess^^

i have very small hands..pity! but great piece anyway..

  • wow if its really you playing you have my respect, its great! i love this piece its kinda scary but incredible..

  • It's me!

  • who is the player?
