  • There is no such thing as a "thought" disorder... The food you eat directly effects your health, as well as your cognition... we become what we eat most of the time... just as we become what we think about most of the time.... I recomend pure water, and organic food.. Theres no cure in a pill.... only treatment.. no repeat cash flow in a cure.

  • Hey guys. I'm battling from schizophrenia. I'm not asking for money or views or anything, but just for support and for people to hear me out. My psychiatrist said to let people know about your problem, but everyone thinks I'm weird and my family cannot understand or take me seriously. I made a blog about my problems, and I hope we can talk on there. My blog is battlingschizophrenia.blogspot.com . Fellow schizophrenics, you should also come. We can fight the battle together.

  • i went to my therapy appointment and wheeler clinic recommended me to have a phyciatrict evaluation because most of my thoughts and symptoms and plus my family tree has alot of schiznophrenic people and anxiety so i might have both and im pretty sure and by the way i also smell things that isn't there and see but right now im experiencing smell more often than see

  • be careful in believing that someone "sees / hears something that isn't "there" " because in some cases, that sets a person up to deny reality (and then all hell breaks loose). this is a supernatural world. we DO hear and see things that other people don't notice. it's called paying attention. being sensitive. and it's always shocking to a person's system. the PSYCHE industry LIES. it's not a college, people don't learn TRUTH through the psyche industry.

  • I hear jumbled words

  • stop drinking big coffees you pie

  • That latte looks delicious!!!!! Did you make that? :)

  • Very interesting, but where would the artistic mind fall within the DSM? Artists think very differently about a great deal. Being an artist isn't as much what is done or created by the artist as it is how the person thinks, experiences reality, and lives. Who says what is 'proper' thought? You know?

  • I believe in horoscope, am i delusional? do i have schizo?

  • @damthatriver09 lol no you need to have most symptoms to be classified as schiznophrenia not just one...

  • @returnoftheramble3 do you feel soft of a buzz relive or

is it like a drug where you wounder when the next time will be? mine was i was 8y.o

  • a nice latte. that is 5 gallons large.

  • @silent13379 LMAO....

  • I don't mean to be critical. I have worked with many schizophrenics and you don't present like such a person. You have connection to reality. There is something going on in your eyes, you are in touch with yourself and the world. This may mean that your wellness program is working. Graig in Salmon Arm BC Ca.

  • @Grrraig question my mother is scizy and i belive i was (getting much better now)

i belived i had controle over tony blair to go to an over world and to bring back roman slaves...weird huh

i also belived some one was hunting me down to kill me he was the powerfulest physic in 7 galaxys

do you think i am scitzo?

    i belive i am

  • @katebeckinsale978 - There is evidence that Cognitive Behavior Therapy, otherwise called "Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy" can help people with delusional ideation. I don't mean "cure" and I don't recommend quitting the psychiatric meds. But I think any belief-system can be exposed to logic and if a person unhooks emotionally from the content, they can rationally challenge ANY belief-system. If you want to talk more, email is silver-stream@live.com. Best wishes. Graig Burns, BC, Ca

  • @Grrraig no thx am getting better but thank you

  • brokencyde sucks and spell terribley

  • @returnoftheramble3 they come and go with no real rhyme or reason. sometimes i hear them in my skull/brain

like thoughts. other times i hear them outside of my head like "with my ears". often i'll hear people talking

faintly, like if i'm in a public place, i'll hear two people talking to each other, but i get the real conversatoin

all wrong. like my mind is so paranoid that it conforms the sounds into words that are negative about me,

i know i've lost grip often, but can't seem to regain it.

  • there's no point worrying about things. just enjoy it

  • Great job explaining :). You are a beautiful person. I work with people with schitzophrenia, and I love seeing functionality like yours!

  • I also have a mental illness and all I want to do is hug you!

  • what are you all fucking retarded?? schizophrenia is a debilitating and crippling mental disorder and you're complaining over the song of the same name?!

  • could u smd? :D

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you for the video, it´s good to see people with enough corage to tell the truth about their problems.

  • i was listening to the song... then i clicked on this... it makes you think WHY would brokencyde write a song about schizophrenia...

  • @theawesometrio123 yeahh ikr ;D

  • thanks for the educational video :)

  • mmmmmmmhhhhhh latte!!!! :)

  • i really want to tell all the people here who insult your video because they were listening to brokencyde sing about "schizophrenia" to shut the F*ck up, but i wont. you did a good job. this is an imformative video. i've had schizophrenia since about age 12 or 13 and i'm 30 now. i've had the voices, the delusions, the paranoia... it gets so messed up at times. i've been locked up too. erm, thats besides the point. just know this is a good video. don't let the idiots bother you.

  • you sound like an old person.. blah blah blah.. blah blah blah blah. I WANT BROKENCYDE NOT THIS CRAP =.=

  • @escapethefatechickk Who could possibly want brokencyde...

  • @escapethefatechickk that was stupid to say! she was telling you about what it is. you wont understand the song if u dont listen to her.

    fucking cunt.

  • @escapethefatechickk You are an ignorant dirty little skank. If you're going to make such idiotic comments, don't even f*cking bother clicking this video. PRICK.

  • @escapethefatechickk

your rude. Its ovious that its not so just press the back button, duh.

  • @escapethefatechickk yeahh ikr ;D

  • In today Germany systematic maltreatment of children is organized by the state and executed by snitchers. The psychiatric literature holds many reports of jewish children having been persecuted in exactly this way.Since WW2 psychiatry was regularly misused by Germany to discredit and persecute the NAZI victims.Germany pretended to pay compensation to get the former victims into the hand of shrinks certifying them being mental cases due to persecution.Sometimes they even got some 100$ compensation

  • nice vid... you go off topic to much -.-

  • Broken side will never die....."oh what schizophrenia is part one" *clicks* hi im here in my pajamas..... OKAY!!!

  • @RachTheRipper21 lol same thing happen to me

  • @RachTheRipper21 You went like 200 steps up, as brokeNCYDE is literally the lowest of the low. I mean the absolute nadir of music. Congrats.

  • Man the fucking harpoons.

  • you're morbidly obese

  • @themotorman100 You're so stupid

  • I find mental illness's really interesting, i love researching about them and i really appreciate that you made this video as it is easy to understand instead of all the scientific talk! :)

  • @themotorman100 I KNOW IM JEALOUS OF HER!!!

  • @DeanGeyer

    What is the answer then?

  • i live above a Skitso and my life has been hell for his complaining to the housing associasion about my false NOISE NUSIANSE ffs

  • I think the cause is usually psychological but it can be physiological too.som,e people are schizophrenic because of past traumas, others are schizophrenic fr seemingly no reason.

  • @1787dude

There is no difference between the two. Psychology IS physiology.

  • @sdrawkcabgnipytmi what!? psychology is not physiology. who the fuck told you that!?

  • @1787dude

Psychology is a physiological function of the brain. What we think, feel, and do arises out of the functioning of the brain.

  • @sdrawkcabgnipytmi so where does the soul fit into all this, just curious???? id figure thats where our thoughts came from before the brain.

  • @1787dude

As far as I know, and as far as scientists have been able to determine, everything we are (our memories, our hopes, dreams etc) are functions of the brain. There is no real evidence to indicate that anything survives after the brain dies. We know for example, that brain damage can result in you loosing your memories, or it can result in radical personality changes.

  • i think your looking at this from an assbackwards emotionless point of view, and your creeping me out. if i go by what your saying, emotions are just electricity processing in parts of the brain which means they are meaningless, i think theirs more to it than a small electric pulse, what causes the pulse? thats the problem with modern medicine and science, all they care about is the sympton and not the cause. its retarted. pschology is not physiology.psychology comes first, physiology is second

  • @1787dude

    "assbackwards emotionless point of view"

I'm looking at it from a factual point of view. Emotions don't determine reality, facts do.

"emotions are just electricity ..... are meaningless"

How does that make them any less meaningful? Why is it so much more meaningful if emotions come from some unknown magical source?

  • @sdrawkcabgnipytm im just saying theres more to it than some electrical impulse. your not spiritual at all. i feel sorry for you. trying to prove things with science that cant be proved with just science alone. you need science and a kind of paranormal physics to really understand.

  • @1787

    "what causes the pulse"

We know EXACTLY how it's caused. Roughly speaking, action potentials are initiated when voltage gated sodium ion channels are are opened. The physiology is extremely well understood.

I find it ironic that you state that psychology is not physiology and you don't even know what the physiology is.

"science, all they care about is the sympton and not the cause"

You could not be any more wrong. Scientists see the symptoms and try to figure out the underlying causes.

  • @sdrawkcabgnipytmi no the persons soul powers it. their life force or whatever you want to call it. your salted sodium ions or whatever the hell you are talking about are just evidence of that. if they knew more about string theory they would see that these impulses and electricul charges and shit are having effects on higher and lower planes of creation that we dont know exists yet. we need new scientists, that are more spiritually open minded. not these wiseman effect, close minded retards

  • @1787dude

"salted sodium ions or whatever the hell you are talking about are just evidence of that."

    How so?

What does string theory have to do with neurology? Do you actually know, or are you pulling this out of your ass?

"no the persons soul powers it"

How do you know this, is there any evidence for it? I'm not saying that you're necessarily wrong, but I am saying that it's fundamentally stupid to believe things without evidence. Therefore I'm asking you for evidence.

  • @sdrawkcabgnipytmi it just is. i dont need a scientist to confirm that we have souls and that were not just a collection of electrical impulses.you do, good luck with that., look up the wiseman effect. it basically says that paranormal things wont happen around someone who doesnt beleive in them, but will happen around people that do, so scientists couldnt prove something paranormal even if they wanted to. their too fucking biased.

  • @1787dude

You never answered my question, how are"salted sodium ions or whatever the hell you are talking about are just evidence of that?"

"paranormal things wont happen around someone who doesnt beleive in them"

Really? But non-paranormal things happen all the time to people who don't believe in them. For example, people who don't believe in the germ theory of disease still get sick from germs.

You provide no reasoned argument for your positions at all, you just call the other side biased.

  • and neither do you...germs arent parannormal, their fucking germs and actually. mentally ill people are more sensitive to paranormal things than other people and they dont get sick as much as normal people, why? i have no fucking idea. i get it. according to you and abunch of biased scientists. people are just a collection of electrical impulses, and after we die. we dont go anywhere thats it. i get it. did you know the governments been using psychics since the 30's russia has them too.

  • @1787dude

Yes, and do you know how he know that germs exist? There is overwhelming evidence for them. There is real evidence for anything paranormal. That doesn't mean that it doesn't exist, but it does mean that there's no good reason to believe that stuff.

"biased scientists" ... these people have developed your computer, your medicines, your cars, planes ect ect... You can't argue withe the fact that their methods work.

  • @1787dude

"mentally ill people are more sensitive to paranormal things"

Well how do you know that they aren't suffering from delusions. Mentally ill people are also more prone to thinking things which are clearly absurd to everyone else.

  • @sdrawkcabgnipytmi mentally ill people are more sensitive to paranormal things and delusional too.they can have delusions and not give in to them, if your trying to understand mental illness, you never will. psychiatrist dont even understand it. they cant even treat it but accourding to good ol' science they can, i guess scientifically speaking, turning someone into a numb emotionless quivering mass is a cure. way to go science...

  • @1787dude

"they cant even treat it but accourding to good ol' science they can,"

Science also can't cure many other things: heart disease, diabetes, kidney damage ect ect.... I really don't see your point here. Nobody claims science to be perfect and all knowing, but it is the best we've got.

  • @sdrawkcabgnipytmi i dont think its the best we've got. i think they could easily cure these things if it was profitable. its more profitable to treat a disease and never cure it than it is to really cure it.if somebody came up with a legitimate cure the fda would ban it. ive seen it happen numerous times with other things. and stop quoting me, its a lame ploy that psychiatrists use to try to make patients look bad.

  • @1787dude

"i think they could easily cure these things if it was profitable"

I find it unlikely that the vast majority of doctors would be such assholes. Besides, finding a cure for something like schizophrenia would probably get the guy the Nobel Prize. There's plenty of incentive to find a cure.

Stop quoting you? I'm not using that as a ploy, I'm just pointing out exactly what I'm responding to.

  • they really dont know enough about the brain to treat or cure it. the psychiatric medications are an instant loop of crap that bring in lots of money. they tend to put people on meds and ask questions later. and for every good psychiatrist out there there are 20 or 30 or more making him look bad. ive never met a good psych doctor, i dont even consider them doctors. just glorified drug dealers. you could actually take street drugs and they would work better and have less threatening side effects

  • @1787dude

"i guess scientifically speaking, turning someone into a numb emotionless quivering mass is a cure."

Well in some cases, the side effects are preferable to the alternative. There are some really horrible mental illnesses out there.

  • @sdrawkcabgnipytmi i still dont think meds are the answer. and i think if thats the best they can do then they obviously arent that great. im not impressed. the system doesnt work. im not the only one who thinks this way.alot of mentally ill people come to the same conclusion that the mental health system does more harm than good.theres alot of balls to the walll schizophrenics who learn to cope with psychosis. im one of them.

  • @1787dude

"balls to the walll schizophrenics who learn to cope with psychosis. im one of them."

I think that's awesome. I can only imagine how difficult that might be.

But what about those that can't cope with it? Those that simply cannot function in society without medication? I'm not saying that medication is good, but in some cases it's simply the lesser of two evils.

  • i think your looking at this from an assbackwards emotionless point of view, and your creeping me out. if i go by what your saying, emotions are just electricity processing in parts of the brain which means they are meaningless, i think theirs more to it than a small electric pulse, what causes the pulse? thats the problem with modern medicine and science, all they care about is the sympton and not the cause. its retarted. psychology is not physiology.psychology comes first, physiology is second

  • @1787dude

Electrical stimulation of certain brain ares can also cause certain emotions. It can even cause religious experiences such as the feeling of all encompassing love or out of body experiences.

None of this definitively rules out the soul, but it begs the question of what can be left to survive brain death if not your memories, emotions etc.

  • Thanks a lot for posting this series. I found it really helpful.

  • @themotorman100 Hahahahahaha.

  • I don't know but you look and sound normal to me. We all have delusions and bizarre thoughts! You are a beautiful person btw.

  • Thank you for courageously sharing your experiences. You are a beautiful person. I am hopeful that individuals with your disorder can avoid a dependence on crippling anti psychotics since there are a lot of alternatives such orthomolecular treatment (vitamins), diet filled with antioxidants and no processed food, yoga, cognitive therapy, and most of all, the support of family and friends, and spiritual advisors.

  • @sarahsmith1000 vitamins do work and all that but from my experience, wisdom, patience and mindfullness work better than anything and you can still lose it for no reason. when i lose it i have to just chill ouot and talk myself through it. stress always makes it worse, im bipolar and schizophrenic so im speaking from experience.psychiatrists dnt really understand the disease, all they see is the symptms and nt the cause and the meds just suuuuck. i took meds for a year and was miserable

  • i like her.

  • Wow. I'm diagnosed with severe depression and Schizophrenia. I was first hospitalized when I was 11 for about a week and a half. Then for the second time when I was 12 for about a month. I am now taking Prozac, Seroquel and Wellbutrin. The sad part is... I'm only 12.

  • I have severe manic episodes during summer months and have since I was 5 years old and my grandmother was the same way. meine Oma kommt aus Unterschleißheim in Bayern und ich war immer der Sohn, den sie haben gebar sollten... I deal with delusions and hallucinations and my speech makes no sense at my worst... and while I can relate to an extent, schizophrenia is much worse and deserves more research attention than anything else...

  • @HerrSpieldose You need to join the 'MattasaurusClub' , you crazy piece of shit!

  • schizophrenia is a demos posetions, when King Jesus walked the earth, din''t figuerout about neurons and neurontransmiters, he just expel out the spirits, the fisical manifestations (QUImiko unbalance) is just a efect of the posetion NOT THE CAUSE.

  • hehe u made me laugh when the computer started talking xDDD!

You're very intelligent, I'm sorry to hear that you suffer from schizophrenia :( This video was very thorough & informative, thanks for the insight :)

  • I ACTUALLY ENJOYED YOUR TALK ON THE SUBJECT CONSIDERING YOU SAY YOU SUFFER WITH THE SYMPTON YOU ARE A VERY INTELLIGENT LADY... ITS GREAT WHAT YOU DO IN HELPING OTHERS ...YOU SHOULD BE VERY PROUD OF WHAT YOU DO..... AND IGNORE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE GOING ON ABOUT YOUR LATTE... ITS IRRELEVANT ...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK...

  • just found this by accident..personally..its hard to listen to stuff like this cos its really kinda hard to relate. Scary..Like when you start to freak out do you have someone like tie you up so you wont hurt anyone? Like what if you freak out or something, whos to stop ya. Omg..i really feel sorry for people who have to deal with such things. Just doesnt seem very fair. Gods speed to ya. Hope ya get better.

  • god bless u lady, i feel for u. to have to go thru life with all that chaos in ur mind must be horrible.

  • stimulants like caffeine in huge lattes can cause positive symptoms.

  • thanks for the insight on this..my grandfather was diagnosed with schizophrenia in the 70s and i was diagnosed with schizo-affective disorder . you are a very pretty woman by the way =) ..

  • thanks for sharing

  • Lets not bash her for her weight. The psych medications are known to cause drastic weight gain. The majority of people taking psych medications are overweight...Perhaps they should come up with a medication that doesn't destroy while supposedly helping. That Late may be all she's had today or will have.

  • this girl made a new size for late lol

  • People probably don't wanna hear this, but schizophrenia has been cured in hundreds if not thousands of patients by Orthomolecular Medicine, which is a combination of proper nutrition and large (sometimes 4g daily) doses of certain vitamins (especially B3, niacin), eventually getting patients off their drugs very gradually. Search for videos of Dr. Abram Hoffer and also the documentary 'Masks of Madness' to see what all this 'nutritional nonsense' is about. Oh, and do try to have an open mind.

  • Its a disorder, not a fucking disease.

  • @XxinuyashaluvrxX yeah fucking fuck

  • @themotorman100 yeah we read it the first time you wrote it. How original. Dumb ass.

  • fantastic video! very informative, thank you :)

  • seems like the medication is really helping you, that's good to see

  • @ipodmasterlol lol me too. xD to be honest, BrokeNCYDE is much better then this video.

  • there is no such thing a mental disorder. its all lies to sell drugs to people like you who want a cop out. theres nothing wrong with you. wake up deal with your feelings

welcome to the real world honey.

  • @clifton062

Not true. Have you ever felt sad all the time for no reason? Have you have heard voices or screams that weren't real and you couldn't make them go away? No, probably not or wouldn't be posting that comment. It's easy to think that it doesn't exist unless you've actually experienced it yourself.

And yes, there are people who lie about having metal illnesses to get out doing things, but that's why we have psychiatrists; to distinguish the liars from the sick people.

  • lol the fat gluttony bitch must have committed suicide. good for her and the rest of us. now we can eat. she is rather disgusting to look at.

  • what shizophrenia really is is BROKENCYDE!

  • @wazewp9 haha, that's one of my favorite songs by them(:

  • @peaceandluvtowriterz my fav by them

  • Your hair cute looks nice on you! :)

    Have a wonderful day gorgeous(:

  • Thank you for having the courage to come out and say you are schizophrenic and letting people know the facts. I have a friend with Schizophrenia and i want to further understand what they are going through. Thanx :)

  • i hear people behind walls do you

  • FAT WHORE!

  • american fruad!!!!!!!!

    FUCK AMERICA

  • very well done like how you put your words in.

  • My boyfriend is schizo-affective. Do you know anything about that?

  • thinking is shit, go and inform yourself, before posting shit

  • schizophrenia doesnt exist.. its mind control.. people must be free!

  • I think if you now your problem you are 50% cured.

  • Do you speak German? ichbinkeinberliner "I am not a berliner"!!

  • Bring her to a warm place and then lull her to sleep :-) . I think it's fucked up right here that there doesn't exist euthanasia for people that don't have any chance of getting a better life in the connection of having pain or being totally mentally ill...

  • Im schizotypal and I see you respond on thing that happen in the future, weird huh!! hard to explain.

  • @LaBellaa1984 desire is fire in the din, just realize things fast enough b4 you get tangled.

  • you can tell you have a hard time focussing!

  • what were you hospitalise for?

  • i hope thats a low fat lattee...im sorry for being so blunt..im 250 lbs and i just started taking Geodon...im 28 and just been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia..i also had problems going way back as a teen but i haven't had any help til now...im not getting the best of help because im poor and have no job...its hard to believe what schizophrenia really is...i had a ton of premonitions and of course no one believes me..i wish you the best

  • Do you believe you have schizophrenia?

My opinion is, that this is bogus diagnosis... No evidences, no objective test, fraudulent propaganda about chemical imbalance. There are experiments, that reveals the truth about psychiatry: see "Soteria" project experiment or read about "Rosenhan experiment"...

Also learn more: see vids from Thomas Szasz, Peter Breggin, Jeffrey Schaler, John Breeding, Loren Mosher...

  • I'm sorry if this question is offensive but, did the medication make you gain that weight? I've noticed a lot of schizophrenics are very overweight, is the medication the cause? If so, what specific medication causes it? Thanks :)

  • you where probably right! your phones are tapped you know,

  • its not a disease, please stop taking medication for it

  • Very nice and helpful video. Thank you for sharing your experiences and helping to educate the public.

Unfortunately some people, like one of those posting ridiculous and negative comments in response to your video, are incredibly ignorant and have not yet reached the mental ability to learn about things that don't affect them directly. So you won't be able to educate those folks, unfortunately.

However for the majority of the public you are doing a great service. Best of luck to you. :)

  • schizophrenia is american way to mind control people

  • @cottoneyejoe1 That is not true at all. One percent of the world's population has schizophrenia. It is NOT a solely American thing.

  • there is no historical evedance witten in any historical or caltural text that someone have got a desieas called "schizophrenia" not even in health related books, schisophrenia is an american fruad.

  • where could i find your evidance? proof me that i am wrong

  • @cottoneyejoe1 What a moronic thing to say! It's everywhere in the world and isn't only found in the States. Are you joking or just truly retarded?

  • @bacabu30

    schizophrenia is an assumption

cacer is somthing you realt got

give me some evidince that it is not so

and try to be a nicer person.

  • @cottoneyejoe1 It's a mental illness.

  • @bacabu30 i think its a emotinal caltural

    illness.

this ill is just a way of wanting to precieve

one self, could be distorted, but cimicals

still doesnt have profound avidance for changing touts

or emotions, only social need to change would effect one self

  • @cottoneyejoe1: jeez, u really need to learn better english. I think u are trying to say that schizophrenia is only negative because of culture? This is true. We do, however, live within a social system! In western culture, especially, schizophrenic people will not be able to function within it. If a schizophrenic person lived in a culture where shamanism is practiced, they would be looked upon for knowledge. Mental illness IS only relative to cultural context. so its all bullshit, really

  • @cottoneyejoe1 jeez, u really need to learn better english. I think u are trying to say that schizophrenia is only negative because of culture? This is true. • @lloplop In lack of better words I'll just say what was initially on my mind when I read your comment: I fully agree with you, but got a feeling your opinion is based somewhat on McKenna's idea. Nothing wrong with that of course, but more credit to you if you figured it out yourself.

  • @7ochka I have schizophrenia. I crossed McKenna while searching for answers. I managed to get through college for psychology and saw how much BULLSHIT it was. Psychiatric hospitals are designed to keep people sick. After all, you are a patient....and a customer. McKenna
