@localfox1000 If supporting the 26/11 terrorists, Maoists in West Bengal and opposing Anna Hazare is not a crime, then you are right; Being an anti national is also not a crime.
Arundhati is in a room where she is understood by the audience.
It's irritating and difficult to follow to her speech; she has been always interrupted and can't say a complete sentence.
I cannot listen concentrated; it's so annoying!
The people’s microphone is necessary on the street where no public loudspeaker is allowed. It’s a creative way to reach as many people as possible. But don't do this everywhere as cult. That makes no sense but disturbs!

I agree with most of what Arundhati had to say, though if the new dream means an end to "the family farm" being passed from one generation to the next, there will be blood.
@andobe72 and @invesigator, the "echo" is called the "human mic" or the "people's mic" and is a way our movement ensures that everyone can hear what a speaker is saying without electronic amplification. it was used here, even though we were inside, because there were lots of people inside the church!

What a brave and inspirational person. I simply loved her book, the God of Small Things and wrote a review of it, for those of you interested:

Why do they use the "people's microphone"?

An appalling example of groupthink not to dispense with human mic. Choral repetition in a church: brainwashing overtones. NO!

How does it get proposed to dispense with the 'human mic' ...especially when the means are in place that it is just redundant?
It just distracts from what the speaker is saying.

Brilliant and powerful speech by a great woman!

Shame, the echo, has forced me not to listen to this talk, or bother sending it to others.

The echo is very stupid and reduces the ability to listen properly.
Invesigator 3 months ago
