do you really have to rely on that holo sight or was this staged to show us the advantages of the product? Can you really not hit your targets by using the iron sights
holo's and other red dots only aid in rapid acquisition and keeping the area around your target clear, the actual POA to POI will be exactly the same, you should just expect to take a little longer with irons, and to have a harder time tracking a moving target.
This is innacurate the sight base of the iron sights are very short (it looked like 5 inches) while most holo sight project the rectical 30 meters away so it would really depend on the iron sights
Thats cuz this gun doesnt have a magazine on the bottem Stupid, and the real steel doesnt either. so they put the magazine as a gravity fed tube on the side to make it more realistic
this gun is a VSR10. there is no real steel VSR10. and he is cocking the gun to feed a bb into the barrel. but there is no magazine. so where do all the bbs come from?
the gun is a VSR10 g-spec with a king arms low profile silencer, King arms harris bipod, PSS10 AEG-barrel compatible hop up, and a PDI 6.01 tightbore barrel
Hi everyone, we hope you don't take this video too seriously. It's more for fun! We had recently written a review of the Hurricane Holo sight so as we were looking for a theme for this video, we decided it would be nice to work it in. Obviously it goes without saying that any kind of after-market sight will increase your accuracy at range, especially when you have limited time to aim. Again, we're not trying to prove anything - it's just the idea of Airsoft Janga seemed like fun!
its like comparing iron sights to a scope. of course its easier to hit smaller targets with optics. iron sights require the bb to hit just above the front sight. and this guy is using shitty aug flip up sights, no one can hit worth a damn with those things.
With the iron sights you used the bipod then when testing the holosight you didn't use the bipod but rested the gun on the foam bench,my point is you should of used the same setup for both rather than being biased for the holosight,so don't seem like a very fair test to me.
Pretty entertaining, but it doesn't mean anything. Seems they took an extra minnute to aim with the holosight than they did with the iron sights. Could they perhaps- *gasp* be trying to sell you an expensive accessory that you don't really need??
I would hardly consider that an accurate test because his iron sights might not have been sighted in properly and he could just be a moron. Plus look at the target through the scope, it's a huge ass red circle. Get a good peep sight from an m14 or m16 and it can easily be just as accurate, and moreso over longer distances. People underestimate iron sights way too much.

LIKE I FUCKING SAID EARLIER GOD.
They wont name the gun exactly like the real steel because then they would have to pay money to use the real steel name. Like all guns do that.
Echo 1 P90 is called the E90
JG G36c is called G608
Etc.
AznKoryn 2 years ago
so what is the real steel version of this gun
AirsoftManJohn 2 years ago
Probably the Remington 700.
GeneralMazaki 2 years ago
the r700 has a different bolt. the bolt on this gun is like a piece of clay.

The R700 also has a mag...
Shutterguy 2 years ago

gamemaster1199 2 years ago

The rifle needed better iron sights, such as featured on the real steel US Army M24, where the front sight is at the muzzle.
With such a short sight radius and such a downright CRUDE front post, no wonder the shooter was mostly unsuccessful.
Really fun to see, but as an analysis, it is stilted in the EOTech's favor due to the poorly chosen iron sights.
I had shot data out to 500 yards with my M14 in the Army; shot better with iron than some other Marksmen with scopes.
Still fun vid!

at that distance there's no excuse for not being able to hit the pieces with iron sights as long as the gun is accurate enough which it obviously is
