@mikey2357 Let's compare the two. Turn 1 for Toxic 6%; Turn 1 for Burn 12%; Turn 2 for Toxic 6 + 12 = 18%; Turn 2 for Burn12 + 12 = 24%; Turn 3 for Toxic 18 + 18 = 36%; Turn 3 for Burn 24 + 12 = 36%.

It takes Toxic 3 turns to do more damage than Burn. So for something slow and that should be switching out a lot due to Fake Out like Hariyama, Toxic is pretty much the better choice. You have more staying power with Burn, but you'll usually die by that point if you stay in that long anyway.

But this item is really useful because you can outspeed pokemons that naturally are faster than yours.
