They have had their homes taken from them and their families and cultures destroyed. Could you imagine watching from down on a prairie as an entire race is slaughtered before your very eyes, their homes burning on the mountain tops and the rivers running red with their blood? To me this song speaks volumes about the lack of humanity and caring we have shown those people.

Really enjoyed. Reminded me a little of Peter Gabriel, U2 and The Verve without losing it's own distinct sound. Hypnotic rhythm with undulating crescendos accompanied by a strong melody. Lyrics are bold yet archetypal with vocal style shifting between melodic, controlled harshness, trite and ephemeral. Through all these transitions a common thread remains. Very interesting from a both "commercial" and "artistic" perspective. Easy to enjoy on many levels.
