  • I would like to thank you for the fantastic link and one of the most clear and concise videos made on the subject .

  • @bluefishbrad Thanks man. Glad it helped. I use it all the time. I have a more detailed video on MyFitnessPal and how to use it if you need help, or just ask!

  • Thanks for posting, informative

  • @daveavalon Sure thing, thanks for watching!

  • I like your tattoos.

  • @audreylushy Thanks!

  • Ya timberwolves!!!

  • @TheThundrStruk Old school.... this is a Donyell Marshall jersey!

  • You look like Kraantje Pappie, a rapper from the Netherlands :D

  • @b0nkie070 Ha I see it a little bit, wasn't familiar with him, thanks for bringing it up!

  • i know this vid is a year old but thanks for the website link...i usually calculate manually that takes forever...thanks and good vids subbing

  • @sydnisd183 Thanks man, glad you find it helpful. Sometimes all this stuff can be a pain in the butt like you said, so I'm always trying to find shortcuts!

  • You should recommend myfitnesspal pal to them, it is much easier to use lol

  • Omg, im totally obsessed with you! you're a God..

  • @BlackBuddha777 Thanks!

  • @CampbellFitness alright, makes sense thanks bro

  • @CampbellFitness well im 5'6 20 128 an what about cardio ?

  • @stanbarley Ok given those stats, your goal for fat loss (around 1600 calories) seems to be on point. Now it's just a matter of aiming to take in that level for the next 2 weeks or so each day. At the end of 2 weeks you should ideally have lost around 2-3 lbs. If you stick to this kind of diet, you don't have to do cardio, although it will help you out if you find yourself eating more than 1600 cals.

  • Maintenance 2117 Fat Loss 1694 Extreme Fat Loss 1270 thats the info the site gave me, im trying to get lean muscle an lose my stomach fat so i can actually see my abs. i have a little bit of pecs going on an i can see lik 2 abs lol please help!!

  • @stanbarley Those numbers seem kind of low, what're your stats? As far as losing weight, I'd say go the route of fat loss (500 cal deficit). It's just a matter of sticking to it and slowly lowering your overall body fat %

  • ok i worked it out and even with working out 5 times a week my maintenance is 3099, now one of your videos says that in order to gain mass you should not do cardio, i kickbox twice a week alongside my weight training..IF i add 500 calories to my maintenance surely i would still put on muscle mass?? just curios..i wanna gain mass evenly and my body reacts very well to working out..

  • @IdotQTube The calculator will give you a rough baseline of what maintenance should be. If you find that you eat that much and you're still losing weight, then it's a sign that it's too low. However in order to combat the kickboxing you're doing, eating above maintenance should help.

  • @ CampbellFitness , please help me out I got statics Maintnance - 3042 , fat loss - 3042 , extreme fat loss - 1825 calories , but all i do exercise everyday cardio + weight lift + diet only few fruits still nothing i droppd few pounds in a week then gain back they say its water weight !

  • @badboy7463 Those maintenance calories seem a bit high to me just looking at them. What's your diet look like? If you're not eating enough your metabolism could be negatively impacted, hence the non weight loss.

  • @SpaceGoomba am wondering how u working out coz we same am 215 at 6'2 tryin to get down 200 for better tone too

  • Guys search up MyFitnessPal on google and make an account. I've lost 30 pounds using it, try it out!!

  • @FightMusic94 That's awesome, congrats.

  • @CampbellFitness Thanks! I'm trying to bulk up soon, but I am making sure that I get enough information on how to properly do it, I've subscribed to this channel and many others and I'm looking to start my bulk in a week or 2 :)

  • @FightMusic94 Bulking is fun, I probably won't do it again until the fall!

  • @CampbellFitness I read that people tend to start cutting in the summer to show off the muscle gained. I have a question, would you work on your abdominals while on a bulk? Or work on them while cutting.

  • @FightMusic94 I don't do a lot of abs on a bulk or a cut. Most people don't want big blocky muscular abs, they just want to be lean to show a six pack.

  • Great info. I'm at 215 at 6'2" and trying to get down to 200 for a better tone. Try to keep your camera away from your computer or any type of electronic because it gives off static in the audio.

  • @SpaceGoomba You're getting static on this video?

  • wow i like u thanks

  • @woody653 Thanks!

  • also people its good to drink stuff like water, lean shakes ( you can make with milk or water preferably milk) and get other good stuff that can help you manage your weight. cause for me im tryin to lose weight

  • @ZealotLegacy Water is important for sure, but to lose weight it's all about taking in less calories than are needed.

  • woah.....that is intense! do u think u can use the calculator thing if ur 13

  • @ZealotLegacy It can be applied to any age.

  • @CampbellFitness Great! thanks! I'll try and make a video of a way or two of how to trim down of body fat. i will definetly tell people to subscribe your vids

  • Thanks for the link. As a Holistic Nutritionist, I am finding it useful for my clients. Thanks!

  • @kimmydee23 Great, glad to hear!

  • Try putting a hat like scooby! lol Anyway I started looking out for instructions on how to properly cut, also how long do you need to be in a bulking phase? thanks brandon!

  • @dynatae It's really personal preference. You can have a goal weight, time period or a bodyfat % cut off, but it's really up to you! Some people also choose to bulk in the cold months, then start cutting in spring for summer preparation.

  • @CampbellFitness thanks brandon, I'm just a noob in this body building thing, I'm not going to compete in any Bodybuilding stage just a fit and healthly lifestyle, started out back in 6 months, 60kls body weight now 66kls, I think I made some progress, thanks for helping out, maybe I'll start cutting next month so we'll be ready for summer! haha

  • @dynatae Nice progress for sure!

  • i dont agree with 1-2 pounds per week. dont you think you could preserve muscle and loss a little more like 3-5 pounds in a week? if you up you veggies and protein while cutting carbs wouldnt thzt help? thanks

  • @MrWellminded Cutting carbs doesn't make you lose fat. This is going to be the topic of my next video I think. What helps you lose fat is putting yourself in a caloric deficit. Cutting carbs can help put you in one, but so could cutting protein or fat.

  • @CampbellFitness yea but i was talking about preserving muscle (or even mabye building) during a fat cut... thats just what i do to loss weight(fat). stay away from quick cards, eatmore protein and veggies. i think this helps because it takes a lot of energy to breakdown protein and veggies are low cal.

  • @MrWellminded I guess I just look at things on more of a black and white kind of basis. Caloric surplus equals weight gain, caloric deficit equals weight loss. Thanks for the feedback.

  • @CampbellFitness yea that is the black and white version. obviously you still have to burn more then you take in. thats granted.

  • i was thinking about trying HGH can you please give me your honest opinion on HGH and what are the pros and cons thank you for your time

  • @davegoding Over the counter supplements that market themselves as HGH enhances are just a waste of money.

  • wait a minute. wheres your hat?

  • @jlefebre6001 ha I have a few videos without them

  • OK, but if you eat a caloric deficit, your body just becomes more efficient at storing energy, plus you lose almost as much lean mass as fat.

  • @nthmost I don't agree with that,

  • @nthmost Elaborate on that to people who successfully cutted.

  • thnx bro this video is pretty helpful!

  • This video's really good for people that don't understand fat loss that well. There is no secret to it. All it is, is a caloric deficit, and that's it.

  • @CumAtMeBr0 People really have a hard time grasping this concept!

  • ur delts always look awesome. how do u make sure u hit them well? ive tried a ton of different stuff its hard to isolate them for me without using back/traps.. any ideas?

  • @rjp9871 Thanks! I don't really do too many exercises for them directly (besides maybe standing military barbell presses). I find they respond best with low volume.

  • sweet jersey bro! champion ftw.

  • @dsamoa Hah funny how they're back in style now.

  • @CampbellFitness they got the skinner shoulder straps shows off them traps and delts better lol. i have a few old school starters. same style

  • @inktoxicated Hah yeah the new ones are awful.

  • guys anyone can help?? my hight is 185cm how much is in FEET & INCHES?? what should i put there in calculator??

  • @sergey210384 That's a little over 6ft.

  • you look great man not huge like a beast thats what im aiming for.

  • @turtlepug Gaining size isn't as easy as it seems, especially for us taller folk!

  • damn put some clothes on, i cant listen and perve at the same time !!

  • @inKamareYaFanare Gotta work on that multi tasking.

  • @inKamareYaFanare im trying god damn it !

  • @inKamareYaFanare You just answered to yourself, congratulations.

  • @Biiaattcchh100 oh, thank you :) im glad you relised, thought nobody did

  • how the hell did i come here??

i was watching rebecca black's interview

  • @nazeem27 Gotta get down on Friday.

  • Im a endomorph TRYN 2 LEAN. BREAKFAST is 3 packs of Quaker Oats oatmeal made witrh water not milk my SNACKS is usually a fiber one bar or green seedless grapes my LUNCH is a turkey breast sandwhich with guldens spicy mustard on Arnolds whole grain 12 grain bread my DINNER is A Chicken breast cutlet brolied with no skin with a dole romaine blend salad I try to eat 3hrs in bettween is that ok for a way for me to eat anyones help whould be great and I take ON 211 RECOVERY SHAKE AFTER A WORKOUT

  • @NotGangster100 Looks somewhat ok. What it really comes down to is how much of a caloric deficit you're in at the end of the day!

  • Brandon can i gain muscle while cutting back 500 calories?

  • @wheredah0odat In some cases beginners and very obese people have been shown to be able to do this, otherwise it's very difficult to do so.

  • your from mn me too

  • @TheDwoods14 Not from Minny, just like the jersey!

  • O my jesus thanks man, u gained another subscriber

  • @demonator10 Appreciate the support!

  • i lost 7 pounds from yesterday to today but it was all water from my cheat day

  • @luis14chelsea Hah sounds like a fun cheat day!

  • nice tattoos man you look like Cole from infamous 2

  • @turningaxe Loved the first one, haven't played the 2nd one. Any good?

  • @CampbellFitness You should play the 2nd one it totally holds up. Its better than the first . Cole changed a little bit he actually looks like you.:-)

  • @turningaxe Def will look into it.

  • Hmmm I am 6'5, 201 lbs, 6% body fat. I eat about 2000 to lose .5-1 lb of weight per week. 2500-2600 for maintenance. That scale just told me that I need to consume about 1800 for extreme loss, 2500 for regular fat loss and 3100 for maintenance.

I think there is a bit of a fudge factor present... too many variables. Oh well, it was fun giving it a go.

  • @EricB042389 Yeah there's definitely some wiggle room. I like it as a good starting off point. But there's always some room to play around with the numbers. The activity level also plays a key role in this. If you leave it at it's preset of 3 times a week, then it gives you close to the numbers you've found work best for you. Thanks for the feedback!

  • @CampbellFitness Haha yes. I told the activity monitor that I workout 5 times a week (intense). I am currently training for bodybuilding, and am not doing cardio until I get to about 4 weeks out. To supplement this, I do lots of big compound exercises for body parts with moderate-heavy weight in short circuits based around time.

  • @EricB042389 How far out are you now? at 6% you must be pretty close!

  • @CampbellFitness Haha actually no. I am maintaining at this weight now as I wanted my body to stabilize at this level of dieting, training, and overall body state. That way, when the competition comes, I won't feel as low-energy, lethargic, and muscle-wasted as some of my competitors. My competition is November 19th so I am 10 weeks out as of right now!

  • @EricB042389 All the best man.

  • So how important is diet? In other words, can you make gains without a proper diet plan? I have been lifting for about 2 years now, and to be honest, I haven't seen a whole lot of gains physical wise. Arms still small, etc. During this time, my diet has been horrible. Fast food, etc. Will changing my diet make all the difference in the world? Or is the diet part overrated?

  • @TecmoBO34 People can still see some gains on a poor diet, but overall it plays a huge role in the gains you see. I always had trouble putting on weight until I started taking nutrition seriously.

  • @CampbellFitness wow, you are the man! You replied to all of my questions and I appreciate that. I am a new subscriber and your videos have already motivated me to get serious about my training and nutrition. Thanks again and keep up the great videos!!

  • @TecmoBO34 No problem, if you need any help on something I haven't covered feel free to direct message me. Best of luck on your goals.

  • i just discovered your channel, and i think its great, i really like you videos.

  • @blahha27 I appreciate it! Thanks for the sub!

  • great site and tips.. thanks B

  • @heyjeph Sure thing, thanks for the response!

  • Great link champ. Have been looking for something like this. Thanks for posting.

  • @ThePositiveAussie No problem, thanks for the comment!

  • all the bball jerseys u got on in ur vids are pretty sweet, where u get them?

  • @dunlea2k8 Pick them up on Ebay here and there for cheap. I like all kinds of jerseys from all sports. (shorts too)

  • Do you actually weight out every thing you eat and did you use that website to calculate your macros and caloric intake? Btw, its very helpful. Thanks.

  • @christophermike82 Not with a scale, but if I buy a certain weight of lets say chicken, I divide it up into several meals and divide accordingly to get a rough estimate of the weight. I use that site as well as myfitness pal to track all my macros.

  • im a new viewer nd id like to kno i eat

1/2 cup of (plain) oatmeal a salad with spinach, blueberries and tomatoes

1 medium banana and 1/4 cup of egg whites

is that a healthy sized breakfast cause thats when im the most hungry

  • @93msheen It is healthy but if you're still hungry you can add more oats to fill you up.

  • @CampbellFitness sounds good thanks for the help!!!

  • @Flankr7 Really appreciate the comments my friend.

  • hey i subscribed!

where did you get the tat on your left shoulder it looks samoan and really good btw just curious!

looking foward for more meal vids

    cheers!

  • @ys1337 Thanks for the sub! I have a tattoo update video that talks a little about where I got it, but it's actually Egyptian. It's an Egyptian fan surrounding an aten.

  • Hey Brandon,

Do you think carb cycling is needed to get to single digit body fat? I'm Currently at about 10% and can see a four pack when flexing, but I feel like getting to the point of seeing abs when unflexed is just not happening.

    thanks

  • @Soullimit I wouldn't say it's necessary but it can def help. As you get to 10% and under it becomes a lot harder and a slower process to see further drops.

  • @CampbellFitness

What did you do with your diet when you got to 10% and wanted to get down lower? (what do you recommend as the easiest way to get to single digit bf?)

  • @Soullimit You're really going to need to be picky about what foods you take in at that point. I did some carb cycling and also really watched my sodium intake and paired that with a consistent cardio routine.

  • Hey brandon do you have any videos on abs if not do you plan on making one in the future? Thanks bud.

  • @79gymrat I don't currently, when I do my next cut I'll talk about it then. For the most part having a good six pack is more about having a low bodyfat % then it is doing countless crunches.

  • Hey brandon out of curiousity how much cardio would you recommend to cut down on my bodyfat%. Typically I do 30 min sessions in the morning which adds up to 2 miles, is that sufficient. Thanks brother. Great videos by the way.

  • @79gymrat It all really depends on how many calories you're taking in as well. You should be at least 500 cal below whatever your maintenance is.

  • Thanks for the quick response man. When u get a chance can u make a vid on barhtells a gt complex supplement I need all the help I need in cutting my bodyfat %

  • @VOtero79 Sure thing. I'm actually taking it right now. I'll give a review after I go through the bottle. It's a solid supplement, but it's not one of those ones you'll see overnight gains from.

  • Hey brother appreciate the vids. I just wanted to know if I can still incorporate carbs like sweet potato n brwn rice in my diet if my goal is to make my abs more visible.

  • @VOtero79 You def can. Good carbs like that are fine for you in moderation. IT's the quick digesting ones you have to be more careful of. The secret to abs is just lowering your bodyfat %. For most guys that's around 11% or so.

  • Would it be okay to consume some complex carbs an hour or two before bed? As long as it's within my calorie goal ?

  • @xVincentx26 Sending you a good link via message

  • @CampbellFitness I'm going on vacation this week and was wondering if the airport would let me bring vitamins and flaxseed oil pills with? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

  • @takedowngreco If you're only bringing a carry on, pills are usually fine. As far as gel caps go, you might want to be safe and just keep them in your checked baggage.

  • Great info, Brandon. I have been tracking my diet for the past week, and it is helping me monitor what I eat when I have to log it. It's not perfect, but I am making better choices and trying to get my carb/protein/fat ratios better.

  • @ganthc Yeah i know it can be tough, but once you track it for a little while you get a good idea of what portions you should be eating and then you won't have to really track any more. I'll do a number crunch like once every 2 weeks just to make sure I'm keeping on track.

  • @95melefante You don't necessarily need the carbs, but if you're doing a ton of exercising and not taking in a ton of calories, significantly reducing your carbs or cutting them all together is going to leave you really tired.

  • Great info!

  • Another great video.. You really help me a lot.. now i know how much calories i need to burn to lose that pound..

  • you like the wolves? too bad love probably wont sign an extension with them =/

  • @thirdbreath I do, I'm originally from DC so the Wizards are my team, but I just like jerseys and hats (you'll notice almost a different one in every vid.

  • woah, i didn't recognize you at first without your hat! kidding :] that site you linked is really great! i know i'll be referencing it!

  • @wydget12 Ha yeah I know i feel naked without one in these videos

  • Very interesting. Thanks for that site.

  • @Noyjeetut I remember you used to do a weight loss log back in the day. Ever think of starting that back up?

  • I'm so glad I found your channel. Very informative! Thanks man

  • Great site!

  • great videos...definitely learning alot..thanks..keep the videos coming.

  • @mrrwilliamt Glad you like them. Thanks for watching!

  • Great video. I'm sure extreme calorie counters will love this stuff.

  • great info! keep making the vids. very informative.

  • Great info Brandon. Your becoming very big in Youtube now!

  • @HaydenP90XJourney Thanks. I have way too many ideas for vids, i can't make them fast enough
