Hello! Thanks a lot for this helpful video. By the way, I notice lots of people keep on talking about Kinovelax Diet Plan (do a google search), but I'm not sure if it is really good. Have you ever tried Kinovelax Diet Plan? I've heard several unbelivable things about it and my sister lost crazy amounts of weight with it, but she refuses to tell me :(
@stanbarley Ok given those stats, your goal for fat loss (around 1600 calories) seems to be on point. Now it's just a matter of aiming to take in that level for the next 2 weeks or so each day. At the end of 2 weeks you should ideally have lost around 2-3 lbs. If you stick to this kind of diet, you don't have to do cardio, although it will help you out if you find yourself eating more than 1600 cals.
Maintenance 2117 Fat Loss 1694 Extreme Fat Loss 1270 thats the info the site gave me, im trying to get lean muscle an lose my stomach fat so i can actually see my abs. i have a little bit of pecs going on an i can see lik 2 abs lol please help!!
@stanbarley Those numbers seem kind of low, what're your stats? As far as losing weight, I'd say go the route of fat loss (500 cal deficit). It's just a matter of sticking to it and slowly lowering your overall body fat %
ok i worked it out and even with working out 5 times a week my maintenance is 3099, now one of your videos says that in order to gain mass you should not do cardio, i kickbox twice a week alongside my weight training..IF i add 500 calories to my maintenance surely i would still put on muscle mass?? just curios..i wanna gain mass evenly and my body reacts very well to working out..
@IdotQTube The calculator will give you a rough baseline of what maintenance should be. If you find that you eat that much and you're still losing weight, then it's a sign that it's too low. However in order to combat the kickboxing you're doing, eating above maintenance should help.
@ CampbellFitness , please help me out I got statics Maintnance - 3042 , fat loss - 3042 , extreme fat loss - 1825 calories , but all i do exercise everyday cardio + weight lift + diet only few fruits still nothing i droppd few pounds in a week then gain back they say its water weight !
@badboy7463 Those maintenance calories seem a bit high to me just looking at them. What's your diet look like? If you're not eating enough your metabolism could be negatively impacted, hence the non weight loss.
@CampbellFitness Thanks! I'm trying to bulk up soon, but I am making sure that I get enough information on how to properly do it, I've subscribed to this channel and many others and I'm looking to start my bulk in a week or 2 :)
@CampbellFitness I read that people tend to start cutting in the summer to show off the muscle gained. I have a question, would you work on your abdominals while on a bulk? Or work on them while cutting.
@FightMusic94 I don't do a lot of abs on a bulk or a cut. Most people don't want big blocky muscular abs, they just want to be lean to show a six pack.
Great info. I'm at 215 at 6'2" and trying to get down to 200 for a better tone. Try to keep your camera away from your computer or any type of electronic because it gives off static in the audio.
also people its good to drink stuff like water, lean shakes ( you can make with milk or water preferably milk) and get other good stuff that can help you manage your weight. cause for me im tryin to lose weight
@CampbellFitness Great! thanks! I'll try and make a video of a way or two of how to trim down of body fat. i will definetly tell people to subscribe your vids
Try putting a hat like scooby! lol Anyway I started looking out for instructions on how to properly cut, also how long do you need to be in a bulking phase? thanks brandon!
@dynatae It's really personal preference. You can have a goal weight, time period or a bodyfat % cut off, but it's really up to you! Some people also choose to bulk in the cold months, then start cutting in spring for summer preparation.
@CampbellFitness thanks brandon, I'm just a noob in this body building thing, I'm not going to compete in any Bodybuilding stage just a fit and healthly lifestyle, started out back in 6 months, 60kls body weight now 66kls, I think I made some progress, thanks for helping out, maybe I'll start cutting next month so we'll be ready for summer! haha
i dont agree with 1-2 pounds per week. dont you think you could preserve muscle and loss a little more like 3-5 pounds in a week? if you up you veggies and protein while cutting carbs wouldnt thzt help? thanks
@MrWellminded Cutting carbs doesn't make you lose fat. This is going to be the topic of my next video I think. What helps you lose fat is putting yourself in a caloric deficit. Cutting carbs can help put you in one, but so could cutting protein or fat.
@CampbellFitness yea but i was talking about preserving muscle (or even mabye building) during a fat cut... thats just what i do to loss weight(fat). stay away from quick cards, eatmore protein and veggies. i think this helps because it takes a lot of energy to breakdown protein and veggies are low cal.
@MrWellminded I guess I just look at things on more of a black and white kind of basis. Caloric surplus equals weight gain, caloric deficit equals weight loss. Thanks for the feedback.
This video's really good for people that don't understand fat loss that well. There is no secret to it. All it is, is a caloric deficit, and that's it.

@CampbellFitness You should play the 2nd one it totally holds up. Its better than the first . Cole changed a little bit he actually looks like you.:-)
Hmmm I am 6'5, 201 lbs, 6% body fat. I eat about 2000 to lose .5-1 lb of weight per week. 2500-2600 for maintenance. That scale just told me that I need to consume about 1800 for extreme loss, 2500 for regular fat loss and 3100 for maintenance.
I think there is a bit of a fudge factor present... too many variables. Oh well, it was fun giving it a go.
@EricB042389 Yeah there's definitely some wiggle room. I like it as a good starting off point. But there's always some room to play around with the numbers. The activity level also plays a key role in this. If you leave it at it's preset of 3 times a week, then it gives you close to the numbers you've found work best for you. Thanks for the feedback!
@CampbellFitness Haha yes. I told the activity monitor that I workout 5 times a week (intense). I am currently training for bodybuilding, and am not doing cardio until I get to about 4 weeks out. To supplement this, I do lots of big compound exercises for body parts with moderate-heavy weight in short circuits based around time.
@CampbellFitness Haha actually no. I am maintaining at this weight now as I wanted my body to stabilize at this level of dieting, training, and overall body state. That way, when the competition comes, I won't feel as low-energy, lethargic, and muscle-wasted as some of my competitors. My competition is November 19th so I am 10 weeks out as of right now!
So how important is diet? In other words, can you make gains without a proper diet plan? I have been lifting for about 2 years now, and to be honest, I haven't seen a whole lot of gains physical wise. Arms still small, etc. During this time, my diet has been horrible. Fast food, etc. Will changing my diet make all the difference in the world? Or is the diet part overrated?
@TecmoBO34 People can still see some gains on a poor diet, but overall it plays a huge role in the gains you see. I always had trouble putting on weight until I started taking nutrition seriously.
@CampbellFitness wow, you are the man! You replied to all of my questions and I appreciate that. I am a new subscriber and your videos have already motivated me to get serious about my training and nutrition. Thanks again and keep up the great videos!!
Do you actually weight out every thing you eat and did you use that website to calculate your macros and caloric intake? Btw, its very helpful. Thanks.
@christophermike82 Not with a scale, but if I buy a certain weight of lets say chicken, I divide it up into several meals and divide accordingly to get a rough estimate of the weight. I use that site as well as myfitness pal to track all my macros.
@ys1337 Thanks for the sub! I have a tattoo update video that talks a little about where I got it, but it's actually Egyptian. It's an Egyptian fan surrounding an aten.
Do you think carb cycling is needed to get to single digit body fat? I'm Currently at about 10% and can see a four pack when flexing, but I feel like getting to the point of seeing abs when unflexed is just not happening.
@Soullimit I wouldn't say it's necessary but it can def help. As you get to 10% and under it becomes a lot harder and a slower process to see further drops.
What did you do with your diet when you got to 10% and wanted to get down lower? (what do you recommend as the easiest way to get to single digit bf?)
@Soullimit You're really going to need to be picky about what foods you take in at that point. I did some carb cycling and also really watched my sodium intake and paired that with a consistent cardio routine.
@79gymrat I don't currently, when I do my next cut I'll talk about it then. For the most part having a good six pack is more about having a low bodyfat % then it is doing countless crunches.
Hey brandon out of curiousity how much cardio would you recommend to cut down on my bodyfat%. Typically I do 30 min sessions in the morning which adds up to 2 miles, is that sufficient. Thanks brother. Great videos by the way.
Thanks for the quick response man. When u get a chance can u make a vid on barhtells a gt complex supplement I need all the help I need in cutting my bodyfat %
@VOtero79 Sure thing. I'm actually taking it right now. I'll give a review after I go through the bottle. It's a solid supplement, but it's not one of those ones you'll see overnight gains from.
Hey brother appreciate the vids. I just wanted to know if I can still incorporate carbs like sweet potato n brwn rice in my diet if my goal is to make my abs more visible.
@VOtero79 You def can. Good carbs like that are fine for you in moderation. IT's the quick digesting ones you have to be more careful of. The secret to abs is just lowering your bodyfat %. For most guys that's around 11% or so.
@CampbellFitness I'm going on vacation this week and was wondering if the airport would let me bring vitamins and flaxseed oil pills with? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
@takedowngreco If you're only bringing a carry on, pills are usually fine. As far as gel caps go, you might want to be safe and just keep them in your checked baggage.
Great info, Brandon. I have been tracking my diet for the past week, and it is helping me monitor what I eat when I have to log it. It's not perfect, but I am making better choices and trying to get my carb/protein/fat ratios better.
@ganthc Yeah i know it can be tough, but once you track it for a little while you get a good idea of what portions you should be eating and then you won't have to really track any more. I'll do a number crunch like once every 2 weeks just to make sure I'm keeping on track.
@95melefante You don't necessarily need the carbs, but if you're doing a ton of exercising and not taking in a ton of calories, significantly reducing your carbs or cutting them all together is going to leave you really tired.
@thirdbreath I do, I'm originally from DC so the Wizards are my team, but I just like jerseys and hats (you'll notice almost a different one in every vid.

CampbellFitness 6 months ago
@CampbellFitness Haha yes. I told the activity monitor that I workout 5 times a week (intense). I am currently training for bodybuilding, and am not doing cardio until I get to about 4 weeks out. To supplement this, I do lots of big compound exercises for body parts with moderate-heavy weight in short circuits based around time.
EricB042389 6 months ago
@EricB042389 How far out are you now? at 6% you must be pretty close!
CampbellFitness 6 months ago
@CampbellFitness Haha actually no. I am maintaining at this weight now as I wanted my body to stabilize at this level of dieting, training, and overall body state. That way, when the competition comes, I won't feel as low-energy, lethargic, and muscle-wasted as some of my competitors. My competition is November 19th so I am 10 weeks out as of right now!

@EricB042389 All the best man.

TecmoBO34 7 months ago
@TecmoBO34 People can still see some gains on a poor diet, but overall it plays a huge role in the gains you see. I always had trouble putting on weight until I started taking nutrition seriously.
CampbellFitness 7 months ago
@CampbellFitness wow, you are the man! You replied to all of my questions and I appreciate that. I am a new subscriber and your videos have already motivated me to get serious about my training and nutrition. Thanks again and keep up the great videos!!

Do you actually weight out every thing you eat and did you use that website to calculate your macros and caloric intake? Btw, its very helpful. Thanks.
christophermike82 8 months ago
@christophermike82 Not with a scale, but if I buy a certain weight of lets say chicken, I divide it up into several meals and divide accordingly to get a rough estimate of the weight. I use that site as well as myfitness pal to track all my macros.

Hey Brandon,
Do you think carb cycling is needed to get to single digit body fat? I'm Currently at about 10% and can see a four pack when flexing, but I feel like getting to the point of seeing abs when unflexed is just not happening.
thanks
Soullimit 9 months ago
@Soullimit I wouldn't say it's necessary but it can def help. As you get to 10% and under it becomes a lot harder and a slower process to see further drops.
CampbellFitness 9 months ago
@CampbellFitness
What did you do with your diet when you got to 10% and wanted to get down lower? (what do you recommend as the easiest way to get to single digit bf?)
Soullimit 9 months ago
@Soullimit You're really going to need to be picky about what foods you take in at that point. I did some carb cycling and also really watched my sodium intake and paired that with a consistent cardio routine.
CampbellFitness 9 months ago
Hey brandon do you have any videos on abs if not do you plan on making one in the future? Thanks bud.
79gymrat 10 months ago
@79gymrat I don't currently, when I do my next cut I'll talk about it then. For the most part having a good six pack is more about having a low bodyfat % then it is doing countless crunches.
CampbellFitness 10 months ago
Hey brandon out of curiousity how much cardio would you recommend to cut down on my bodyfat%. Typically I do 30 min sessions in the morning which adds up to 2 miles, is that sufficient. Thanks brother. Great videos by the way.
79gymrat 10 months ago
@79gymrat It all really depends on how many calories you're taking in as well. You should be at least 500 cal below whatever your maintenance is.
CampbellFitness 10 months ago
Thanks for the quick response man. When u get a chance can u make a vid on barhtells a gt complex supplement I need all the help I need in cutting my bodyfat %
VOtero79 10 months ago
@VOtero79 Sure thing. I'm actually taking it right now. I'll give a review after I go through the bottle. It's a solid supplement, but it's not one of those ones you'll see overnight gains from.
CampbellFitness 10 months ago
Hey brother appreciate the vids. I just wanted to know if I can still incorporate carbs like sweet potato n brwn rice in my diet if my goal is to make my abs more visible.
VOtero79 10 months ago
@VOtero79 You def can. Good carbs like that are fine for you in moderation. IT's the quick digesting ones you have to be more careful of. The secret to abs is just lowering your bodyfat %. For most guys that's around 11% or so.
CampbellFitness 10 months ago
Would it be okay to consume some complex carbs an hour or two before bed? As long as it's within my calorie goal ?

@CampbellFitness I'm going on vacation this week and was wondering if the airport would let me bring vitamins and flaxseed oil pills with? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
takedowngreco 11 months ago
@takedowngreco If you're only bringing a carry on, pills are usually fine. As far as gel caps go, you might want to be safe and just keep them in your checked baggage.
CampbellFitness 11 months ago
Great info, Brandon. I have been tracking my diet for the past week, and it is helping me monitor what I eat when I have to log it. It's not perfect, but I am making better choices and trying to get my carb/protein/fat ratios better.
ganthc 1 year ago
@ganthc Yeah i know it can be tough, but once you track it for a little while you get a good idea of what portions you should be eating and then you won't have to really track any more. I'll do a number crunch like once every 2 weeks just to make sure I'm keeping on track.
CampbellFitness 1 year ago
@95melefante You don't necessarily need the carbs, but if you're doing a ton of exercising and not taking in a ton of calories, significantly reducing your carbs or cutting them all together is going to leave you really tired.
