Thanks so much for your review. I am starting pharmacy school in the Fall and the university suggests that I consider a tablet PC. If I choose a tablet PC I'm pretty set on the Thinkpad x201 tablet. How easy is it to learn to use this software? If I wanted to use the playback option with my note taking could I just set up a mic and not a video? What are the benefits in choosing a tablet PC with OneNote to use specifically in the college setting vs a regular PC laptop?
@j23145 Yes, there's a "Record Audio" button that works the same way as the video recording and associates notes that you take while recording audio with that audio. The advantage of a Tablet PC is that you can hold it like a clipboard while walking around and taking notes or pulling up other data on the Tablet's screen. With OneNote, it recognizes handwriting as text, so if you're taking notes with the stylus it will understand the words and even cursive writing becomes searchable.
