The cat sound effect on this one is hilarious, and I 'm pretty sure I heard that same effect on the wildcat in a very similar episode with Sam Sheepdog and Ralph Wolf. I saw it just a few days ago, and that particular scene cracked me up. I found it here on Youtube and showed it to my niece and nephew. I told them: "This was when cartoons were good".
LOL... When I was a child, I thought there were about three cats in the box, until I learned to read the box containing one cat .. Still funny, though, how one cat can put up such a ruckus

LOVE that cat sound effect! But I know it was done before Frank Welker did most animal sound effects.

i don't think so. Sam Sheepdog was the one who Ralph Wolf was trying to get rid of him in that one. this has Elmer.

This is from the Elmer Fudd short "A Mutt in a Rut" - the wildcat scene was taken from "Don't Give Up the Sheep"
