i found out vista doesnt suport all bios standards cause the compaq ipaq desktop has a bios thats unsuported and what could u do to work around it i have an ipaq desktop with a 1ghz processor and it has a 30gb hd and such what to do

A recently bought a JVC Everio hard drive camcorder and found the same issues with file formats. So for a couple days I used their very crappy software, until I realized I could just change the ".mod" to ".mpg" and the file still works fine. I doubt this would work with the new Sony file format, but who knows.

To the lady with the spacebar problem:

The problem may be that you have "focus" on, say, a Flash plug-in. For example, on this very YouTube page, if you clicked "play" to play the video and didn't click anything else, and then hit the spacebar or PgDn to scroll down and read the comments, it won't work. The key event is going to the Flash plugin playing the YouTube video and not Firefox.

Just click somewhere outside the video, then spacebar and PgDn should work.
