  • grew up with boston,die with boston!peace!

  • still 17 and still rocking to boston! rock on! peace!

  • I'm ready.

  • RIP Brad you knew how to ROCK!!!

  • I'm a sucker for overproduced 80s rock like Boston and I still think their music is amazing.

  • Contrary to the dumbass that said the rest of the album sucks, this album was excellent, it was a bit of a departure from their first 2 albums which had a 70's sound, but this album is still my 2 favorite next to the first which is often undercredited as on the greatest rock albums of all time, in my top 5...

  • Carbon monoxide poisoning thats really sucks

  • RIP Brad Delp. Sing with the Angels....

  • Great tune! Rest of the album sucks.

  • @cutis1000 The whole album is great.

  • don't look back!

  • excellent!

  • just absolutely amazing....

  • 2, 3, 4, c´mon !!!!

  • Boston hit #9 in Billboard, 2-14-87. God bless ya, for postin' it .Thanx! Have a great week! RIP, Brad Delp.

  • How could this guy kill himself?? Every time I need inspiration I turn to his music...such irony. RIP Dude.

  • Four people aren't ready...

  • This song gives me goose pimples!

  • Love this song!!!

  • I'm ready your're ready LET'S GO !!!!

  • I wanna go were their going!

  • by the gods, this is rock.

  • That is the most beautiful guitar to ever grace the ears of humanity.

I HAVE ALL OF BOSTON'S ALBUMS! GAAAAAH I LOVE THEM!

  • this is probably... my most favorite song generated by the 80's. i lived it. i loved it. im so happy you posted it so i didnt have to go get my CD out to hear it. thank you.

Boston is a God of the 80's soundtrack.

  • R.I.P., Brad. You were a helluva vocalist.

  • i have this on vinyl...and im 17 lol. whats wrong with me?

  • @62beatles69 nothing im 18 and i have it to

  • @mrXXrauf182XX always good to see another young vinyl collector. every chance i get i'm at flea markets buying them lol

  • @62beatles69 18 and I've got it...it's an incredible album! No shame! :)

  • @ssparrow331 no shame at all man. judging by your channel you like great music as well. good to see.

  • @62beatles69 Um... You have good taste for real music? That might be it.

  • @offrhode92 haha i like to think of it that way. i really do love this kind of music more than anything

  • @62beatles69 Nothing is wrong with you,lol

  • @skoolyrat totally, right on brah ! @2:33 sports another type of benchmark as well as a couple other places; I dig.

  • @911fever @ 2:31 is more like it, but y'all already feeling it !

  • As always with Boston....AMAZING music. Interesting factor....all of Boston's artwork....something to be taken seriously.

  • I love listening to old school music like this, but I hate that WITHOUT FAIL... there is some annoying comment that says "what happened to real music like this?" There is still "real music" its just harder to find, STFU

  • what happen to real music like this ?

  • Excellent guitars by Tom Scholtz along with Brad Delp's vocals, this is a classic album by Boston!

  • RIP Brad you are awesome!

  • Brad, I hope you're seeing the light. I miss you Man.

  • I miss them.

  • ..Can u imagine the kids of today looking back 20 30 years back...And say "YEAH MAN,Those were the days EMINEM,LiL Wayne,Lady Gaga...When we pulled our pants down and wore gold teeth and we had to ALWAYS LOOK TOUGH"..lol...Gimme a BREAK...God Bless

  • @mattdaddyful, I won't be one of them, that's for sure. I'm 18 but love rock and completely dislike any of today's pop and rap shit. It's rock and rock only for me, man. Rock on.

  • @AktivityNow great comment

  • @mattdaddyful, thanks man.

  • What a great song. I didn't realize this song was from Third Stage, released in 1986. I thought it was one of their 70s songs. Boston was the only band that could release an album in 1986 and make it sound like it could've been released in 1976.

How a band could become so iconic and have so many revered classic rock gems come off of only three albums speaks volumes to how great they were.

  • This song is the epitome of what I imagine when I hear the term "classic rock"

  • The great thing about Boston is that you can crank the volumne up to ten and your ears don't hurt because they are so smooth/polished and well produced, they (Tom Scholtz) know their technical stuff.

  • 2 people Were Not Ready

  • I love BOSTON!!! im READY!!!

  • great song

  • Wished this song and 'Hitch a Ride' were on greatest hits instead of the newer songs that were on it. Boston can't be Boston without Brad Delp, so I don't see anymore Boston albums ever again.

  • @nebfandan The only song with Fran Cosmo that they put on the greatest hits was Livin' For You and Higher Power which had both Brad and Fran

  • Wished this song and 'Hitch a Ride' were on greatest hits instead of the newer songs that were on it.

  • Just going through a bad time right now, my father is dying and suffering. The end is very near for him, just need to hear some music and this is what I searched out. This song and album has always moved me. (class of 1986)

  • cant wait for their new album!!!!!!!!!!!!! i might be the youngest boston fan ever xDxDxD

  • Heard this on the radio yesterday and have it on autoplay in my head now!!!

  • Superb music from Boston. The 80´s... best music decade ever.

  • we waited so long for this album , they had legal problems ,, i guess,, ! this would be there last great set of songs , not that they didnt make more good music , just that the music is spaced farther apart , with different members and stuff but we have there songs to keep us company through the argurice times ,if anyone is seeing this message that can influence them to make more please feel free to do so,, my plee is ,,,,, please make more music BOSTON

  • a very complicated epicness strewed together with the boston feel. This song is like having your pie and eating it as well. All though at this moment i would like a little white room or magic carpet ride.

  • doesn't get better than Boston.....

  • I remember we were listening to Boston hard back in 86 and this album was out and now its hard to believe thats almost a quarter century ago.

  • This song & Cool The Engines kick ass! This was Boston's last good album.

"Walk On" was a huge turd!

  • goosebumps anyone?

  • My middle name came from this awesome band with Amanda the year I was born, now it's my wedding song and my husband and I listened to this song on our way to get married and home as well as Amanda!!! Awesome band from the 80's!!!!!

  • @Rosefairy24 Good for you, my daughter was born in 1986,I assume you were born in 1986 anyway because I think this lp came out that year.

  • I got this on LP

  • We're ready now, catching a wave to ride on! :) My name is Amanda, but i love this song more :)

  • i love this song one of Boston's best.

  • ahhh yes i do believe this was the era that was the peak for rock music. comparing 80's rock to todays "rock" is like comparing a sports car to sack of dog shit (todays music being the sack of dog shit of coarse! LOL XD)

  • Great song

  • Hit#2 rock, #9 pop in Billboard. God bless! RIP, Brad.

  • this was a great song for 1986, a reminder that music still exisited.

  • This music has always inspired me to hunt and eat the flesh of all tasty animals and proudly were their fur. Thanks for the inspiration.

  • It's a shame they didn't make many songs. They had tons of potential.

  • @Friedchikenz it was Tom Stolz's anal retentive, perfectionistic nature that lifted them to great heights, but it also hindered any chances of long term success.

  • @rayjr62 I've pondered this for some time, and I've finally come to the conclusion, after half a day's thought devoted to the ending of the Delp era, that the lack of proliferation is acceptable.

It's in our nature to be greedy and wish for more, but his relentless and even seemingly absurd insistence upon element after element being tried and cast aside creates some kind of perfection and craftsmanship we don't ever find in our "per-track MP3/ITunes" market.

  • @schilsound bro ur complicated SHIT talkin was so unnecessary... just talk clear bro

  • @rayjr62 And, as a side note, the last concert in which Delp performed was a celebration of the 30th anniversary of their debut album. over 3 decades is a pretty reasonable career, wouldn't you say?

  • Hit #9 for Brad and Tom. RIP, Brad. Your voice was 1 of a kind. Rock on in Heaven.

  • best song off album, bought it on 1st day, saw them in syracuse in late 70s RIP brad..

  • Great song, I wish at the end they would have kept going with the "We're ready now" and faded that out. That would've been a very cool ending.

  • love this song!♥♥♥

  • Clean guitar's so nice.

  • Les Paul baby the best

  • This was A GREAT 80's ALBUM!!!!!!!! Amanda, We're Ready. Oh YEAH,YEAH, the dj
