I speak a little although slowly, you're actually faster than me. I don't have much in the way of vocab but currently trying to ramp that up. Like you I need someone to speak it with. It's funny how learning a foreign language helps you with your own lol. Chao!

I learned the very basics in high school. I had 2 horrible teachers the first that I took it, so I basically taught myself. Then in my second year, I had to really good teachers, so I learned more, but it was still pretty limited and it didn't help me very much conversationally. And after not using Spanish for a few years, I forgot a lot, so started re-teaching myself. So anything beyond the basic present tense and preterite verb usages, and the progress I've made in acquiring

more vocabulary is self-taught. Which is why I need help now. There's only so much I can do alone...lol. I can ready Spanish extremely well, and I can understand it when it's spoken fairly well, but my speaking needs a lot of work because I don't have the opportunity speak it on a regular basis...so I'm still on training wheels..lol
