Huckabee got off easy.  He really didn't answer the part about Wayne DuMond, and the fact is that he DID orchestrate the release of him. He personally sent him a letter saying it was "his wish that he be released." He got easy questions and scripted answers, that's all I have to say about that.

Homosexuality actually does effect our society, and causes many difficulties for the traditional family. Studies show that the traditional family is what builds a strong society. Children who grow with both a male and female parent in an environment of love do better in school and have a lower crime rate. A president who understands that will strengthen the nation.

If we take a watered-down view about whether or not a person is born gay is a position that is not based upon scientific research. If homosexuality is a sin, which the Bible says it is,then why God would be unjust to call it sin if it is a genetic predisposition. Actually, the Bible does not use the word Homosexual in the original text, it is merely the English word that the translators chose in some cases, because there was not a better way to say it in their oppinion. The Bible does not say Homosexuality is a sin, but rather it is an abomination for believers. If you represent Christ you are forbid of it, just as you are to honor your father and mother. Common or secular people are however not commanded any way on it in the Bible.
