hey, I got this on my pcsx and its all working smooth except for one problem. the sprites couple of odd lines flickering on them. I tried turning off texture filtering and it didnt help. when I switch to software settings the lines go away, but it blures the image a bit. do you know how to set things right to get rid of the lines and keep the sharp pixelated art?

@LegacYakaMK Set the plugin to native res, and enable progressive scan by holding X and Triangle when the game boots.

@mukaikof Actress Again no doubt not only do you have more characters but the gameplay has been tweaked to quasi perfection (compared to Act Cadenza and the firs MB)

@danimeman That would be the problem PCSXE works best witha dual core cpu, and yours i'm afraid is just a bit too old.

@emocelot well you can get this game off of playasiadotcom or Ebay. but its expensive like 69.99$ and some have it for 82.99$ and 99.99$. its worth the price. im trying to find a place to get it cheap. i almost got actress again off ebay for 20$ sealed. but someone outbid me. i did buy act cadenza off Ebay brand new for only 17.99$

@jajajames0919 First of all be sure that you have the latest Direct X installed even if you Have Direct X 10+ you need to update it,

Second Do you have a Direct X 10 (or 11) card ?

and Third do you use Windows XP or Vista and 7 ?

(Direct X 10(11) is only for Vista and 7)

Also note that on newer revisions Dx 10 and 11 plugins are merged in the Same one so if you only have Dx9 and 11 plugins showing up use the Dx11 Plugin.

@necrostrafe In the recording of this video i used a iso with the Linuz Iso CDVD Plugin, but i also tested with the original disc, you just need to select cdvdGigagherz Plugin and configure it on your default dvd drive on your pc, after that just start the game like any other game from the "File" Dropdown menu.

@R4gnar0kSurvivor I couldn't find an iso of the game.So my friend lent me his to try it out.We can't seem to properly get the game to work right.The game itself loads and everything.It just won't play right(tried to copy your settings),the screen shakes,the characters don't show up during the actual fighting part and it seems either slow or fast.Please help.Well my friends needs his game back soon and my order should come in a week or so,I wanna get it to work properly before that.

@JoJoRockets52 yep it is, and as far as i could see there was no spec of slowdown while playing. (played arcade mode to completion and a few 2 player matches with no problems at all)

should a 3.2ghz quad core with 8gb of ram also a 5770 Video card run it at full (i think it should since it can do crysis haha)

Everytime I try to play the game on the emulator it says "{lease insert a Playstation or Playstation 2 format disc" any help?

what revision of the emulator do you use ? if you use any of the r2xxx builds try activating the skip bios hack, but otherwise just select run ISO from the file menu in r1888

It should work if you have a good iso

(just d'ont try to boot up the game via the ps2 bios usually y'oull get that message)

@DPXJube I think I know what is that is ailing you, are you running a .img file? Well if that's the case, you've extracted the .iso file, and you weren't supposed to do that, instead open up the file you extracted. Sorry if that is a bad explanation, I don't really know how to make it simple to udnerstand.

I noticed a slight fps increase when I enable all speed hacks.

How do you enable progressive scan? No matter when I start holding Triangle + X it just starts loading the memory card like usual.

Normally right when you launch the game in pcsx2 as soon as the main window appears start holding the 2 buttons, and hold them until you get the choice selection for 480p display.

Everyone can't be Zar or Spooky. Also much respect for actually buying the game and supporting the creators. This illegally downloading games thing is stupid. It's kind of the reason why I decided to not use an emulator, just as a protest against it. But I guess the same thing can be said about illegal music downloads....

no problem^^ i actually love having the boxed game and seeing it sitting on my shelf is pretty nice when i can show it off to some friends on my real ps2. I use the emulators mainly when i want to test it out or try seeing a game in higher resolutions than it was supposed to be so its not my main method of playing games, i still prefer the standard Ps2 hooked up to a Tv because there simply is no worry about slowdown or stuff like that ;p
