  • lexanagramming! Here is mine on Psalm 89;verse 9 and part of 10( recall :"You rule the raging of the Sea; when its waves rise, You still them. You have broken Rahab in pieces, as One who is Slain!") My re-creation by rearranged letters is "Ensign Garrovick in OBSESSION:the Monster of the Seven Seas will WAR you all here! Ah, HH: a Pew: I,U,U,YOU!

  • I only remember the correct phrase she wrote with her hand:ABLE BODIED SEAMAN! It currently reminds me of You Tube's OLD SPICE NAVY SPIRIT SPOT (video)! I close my commenting with Psalm 89:9-10:"You rule the raging of the Sea; when its waves rise, you still them. You have broken RAHAB in pieces, as one who is SLAIN!" Have you heard of Anagramming? Sir Isaac Newton used anagramming(and so did Leibnitz!) to conceal hidden information-but mine is the other way around! It's also called Lex-anagram

  • who circumnavigated the globe alone in his boat-he later retired to live in Montana. As I've been saying the Kirk-Garrovivick story has special appeal to me! In Grade 6 my English Teacher was Miss JUDY FORTUNATO(who also was my HomeRoom Teacher way back in 1969-70;during the winter months on a story about a sailor's tale I got a D on the Quiz especially over this one Question I missed:I don't remember anymore the Question I incorrectlyanswered nor even the rest of the Test or even a story read!

  • read The Old Man of the Sea by Ernest Hemingway. The Star Trek Episode OBSESSION to me reminded me of the Sea or Ocean and the Sailor(though in "The Ultimate Computer" when Kirk is about to lose command of the Enterprize-he talks about the old sailing days nostalgically"you could feel the Wind and smell the sea Breeze-that rock tune comes to mind:"I'm the CAPTAIN!..Don't take that Ship away from me! I'm sailing closer to my.....) The best book-closest to Garrovick is DOVE-the story of a Kid

  • My older brother David read MOBY DICK and I

  • Father Figure to young Garrovick. But the Cloud Vampire becomes a neurotic Obsession to Kirk especially in the psychiatric diagnosis of Dr. McKoy,until Spock logically proves "the Creature was intelligent-it ATTACKED, Dr!" At the Conclusion both Kirk and Garrovick successfully defeat and exterminate the vaporous Cloud: a theme of good conquering evil at destiny's turn of events. As I was growing up I had many heroes(Will Robinson-Luke Skywalker-CHAD, but this story stands unique to me!

  • Captain Garrovick of The USS Farragut(a Civil War name: Captain Farragut played a crucial role in the capture of New Orleans and the possession of the Mississipi-thus helping to sever in half the Southern Confederacy! Eleven years later while on a world in search of DiKironium-the hardest substance in Nature, the Cloud creature suddenly reappears in Kirk's life: this time he's the Captain and Ensign Garrovick-the orphaned son is on his first Tour of Duty with Captain Kirk as his Commander a

  • My favorite Episode is OBSESSION: a father and son relationship involving Captain Kirk and his Obession with the Cloud Creature. Captain Garrovick was a Hero and Father- Figure to young and inexperienced Midshipman Kirk just out of the Academy on his first Tour of Duty: it kind of reminds me of The ROBE "somewhat"( My son, be a true Roman!..Richard Burton's Character goes to Judaeia to witness The CRUCIFIXION) but Obsession differs in that Kirk witnesses the Death of his Hero and Father Figure

  • Okay, so where are the episodes?

  • I can't watch them, because I live in New Zealand :(

  • @LandyYecla That sucks, I wonder what it will take 4 YTube to treat all countries fairly--after all they are owned by Google and they are the universal equalizer, right..they do no evil!

  • @qland yah i know right, in the usa youtube offers way more... its really annoying. Where do you live?

  • your all stupid trying to come up with a best episode

    let the civil war begin

  • The Menagerie was the best without a doubt! It was so mind-twisting, plus it was one of the best Cpt. Kirk episodes ever!! Plus, it showed Spock's rebellious side.

  • my favorite star trek episode is the " Journey to Babel" were Dr. McCoy finally got the last word..

  • Mirror, Mirror - it has EVERYTHING, up to and including thigh-high boots

  • "City on the Edge of Forever", "Journey to Babel" and hell, even "I, Mudd" all great episodes.

  • I can honestly say I've never seen one episode of Star Trek, but I love William Shatner from in Boston Legal. Denny Crane is the perfect character.

  • I like "Balance of Terror" and "Arena".

  • my favorite episode is Amok Time. It began the in-depth look at the Vulcan culture.

The episode where Spock cries is "The Naked Time"

  • I loved City on the Edge of Forever. Classic!

  • i think bill was so very much better in "boston legal" !
