  • Good work! I'm wanting to put velvet over my existing carpet in my 06 Chrysler Pt Cruiser! Any do and don't suggestions?

  • @ChangedMan92 One thing to do is let the carpet warm up inside of a garage for a while. It'll make it easier to work with and come out better. If the carpet is cold, it doesn't conform as easy to the floor pan grooves.

  • could u place the old carpet on the new carpet and trace it?

  • @littleelvisofMA You're better off to do it as shown in the video, and fit it inside of the vehicle. That way you won't come up short somehow.

  • @1aauto ok, Thank you,

  • I've had the new carpet out & breathing for a week & about to install in a 93 cutlass supreme very similar to this,is a whole saw over the nuts a bad idea ? & my thing is should I remove the floor shift or raise it off the floor, this is the biggest thing in preventing rolling it out..almost seems like you would have to there are 17 holes on the original

  • @tjfreak Your best bet is to lay the new carpet out in the vehicle, and then make your holes accordingly.

  • Great!! Video!! Keep up the good work.
