they've been on hiatus since around 1998. They are more members, but this guy was the singer/songwriter and the main driving force. You should listen to their album In The Aeroplane Over The Sea, it'll blow your mind.

Looks like an archtop with a dog-ear P90 pickup in it. Looks like a Gibson ES-125 with the pickguard removed. These guitars were produced between 1941-1970, and are not considered collectable. It was more of a student model, though they can go from $750 to upwards of $1000, depending on the condition.
