God rest his soul, he was great. Too great to the point where no one would tell him no. There are doctors who should be held accountable for what happened to him. Vintiligo appears as white patches, meaning he should've used dark make-up to smooth those areas, and not the other way around. And with all of the facial surgery, and recovery and pain killing drugs and $ hungry dr.'s just kept saying okay okay. No one said no, but this is probably the major association to his death. What makes the change so big is the combination of having vitiligo and the plastic surgery.

The biggest change seemed to happen during 1985. Michael still looks the same as on the Thriller video and album cover on the We Are The World video (filmed in January 1985). But later in 1985, when the Captain Eo movie is filmed, he suddenly looks like he does on Bad - a lot whiter but also a lot more weird in terms of surgery.
