I remember when comedians were funny.

I witnessed his 15-20m act last night and his delivery was chaotic and glowed with unrehearsed self deluded cheekiness. He used notes on a stool as his comedic guide which really was visually disconnecting. His focus/worship of the “The Act” and not the audience was demonstrated again and again through his all over the place indiscriminate directed comments. Hecklers where attacked with the same level as those who he reached out to for interaction and were left spanked for their trouble.

still though dane cook is my favorite comedian, hes the only one that can make me keep laughing after the joke was told and i dont know about the terrible joke thing, its just that he tells stories instead of your "average joke" i find that refreshing.

I think his main problem is that his delivery is a bit awkward. I mean the joke isn't really all that great either; but if you have a good delivery, you can almost make anything funny.

I think that's the point of this clip. He's making it awkward on purpose since for most people it would be an embarrassing subject to speak on. So he speaks on it with a broken type delivery like he's embarrassed which makes it funny AND REAL.
