I have ubuntu 8.4 and compiz....  but why i cant do that??? ive tried .... but i can get it!!! plz help!!!

Hey man ill help you out wiht ubuntu and compiz. But to me it seems like your a noob, and the comment was written 6 months ago so im gussig youve uninstalld ubuntu off of you computer, but if you still have it give me a holler.

I downloaded Ubuntu and desided not to install it, Why does this bu11$hit not come with beryl or compiz already installed.

you have to use command lines and crap, you need to be a techy to run ubuntu, I hope not everibody falls for this stuff. I could not get nun of this eyecandy working and not to mention mp3 and a whole bunch of file and videos don't work. It's unpracticle.

can anyone help me i have desktop effects enabled im using ubuntu gutsy i think 7.something but i want the little dock down the bottom and the widget things and also some of the effects on this guys i dont think i have how do i get them.

hey i need help i have compiz fusion but how can i get the windows to show up like papers when i move the cube ? cause they just stick there

in  ccsm

System > Preferences > Advanced Desktop Effects Settings.
