I know that.. thats because the mmsx i had, changed your nickname. It was a custom made mmsx file, and that was one of the guys who worked on it with me. He wanted that to be his way of letting you know you used his program.

if you put it in your psp 2000 and dont have a mmsx in, nothing will happen.. if you put a mmsx in then you can install CFW

you could make one, by cutting the pin, though its smaller then a letter on a coin, so.. all up to you. I have links to get one for under $10, and a full guide to cut the pin.

it just makes it so that it will boot the psp into service mode, so depending on the mmsx you make, will depend on if you can still use the battery. You can easily make a mmsx. The one i made, i dont have a guide for anymore, though I have a guide for the newer one.

I softmodded the battery, (ran software on it, rather then cutting a pin) The tape is on it, because i broke my phat psp, and needed to make the battery bigger to fit.
