They may have been poor and thought of as trash, but they took of their own when it counted. Too bad Annie didn't inherit that trait cause she'd rather stay with the man that beat and raped her own flesh and blood little girl on several occasions. In my eyes, she's just as guilty for what happened as Glen was.

I don't know how to make videos, but what I did with your video I used Because of you by Kelly Clarkson over it, and for the most part it fit really well. I really do like this vid. It is a very sad movie, but it's a good one. Angelica Houston did a great job in directing this.

Yes, Movies about Child Abuse are incredibly heart breaking. Expecially when they are true. If you want your heart to break completely you should watch 'An american Crime' or Jack Ketchum 'The Girl Next door'. But I agree, this movie makes me cry everytime aswell.

Yeah it was a really pitiful movie. 'The Girl Next door' is also based on Sylvia Likens story. But it is very loosely based on it. And it is, in my opinion would have been more tear jerking, But 'An American Crime' was the true story, which makes the experience of watching it more sad. Yes I agree, there is too much Cruel in this world.

@narutotentensasuke the mom COULDN'T have done anything.If you watch the whole movie she was told by glenn that if she tried to stop him, he would only make the beatings worse and then come after her. Unfortunately this happens in 90% of cases like this, which is very sad.

That's not what he says in the movie at all.. Glen is dumb ass, and he doesn't beat wife at all, or the younger girl. He beats and Rapes Bone. All the mom had to do was leave him... She stays with him becuase she loves him and forgives him .. that's how it appears to me. Her brothers would have killed Glen if they could have..

The mum is a sick bitch.. In the movie she sees that dick rape her daughter, and then abandons her at the hospital and goes back with him.

That is usually what happens one parent beats one child and the other parent stands by and watches it slide just like the mom in the movie, but a mom can take so much and when glenn raped bone that was the last straw and even then bone was too scared to say anything. I was speaking in generalizations of real life occuarances and not necessarily talking about the movie.... but i do see your point though!

I really like this video you made. I hate thinking that this stuff is actually happening to girls just like bone out there right now. :( It makes me sick.
