im a huge smart phone user and i use the bb bold 9900 atm and a serious person for business would not use an iphone everyone knows its a toy more than a phone. the reception is horrible on the iphone, some of my employees use them and they complain about the reception a bit. blackberry will always be better and more reliable than an iphone

Simple, if you like apps and games get the iPhone. If you are really only about messaging/emails/socialnetwork­ing, bb all the way. I've had an iPhone and i just got my bb and I'm enjoying the bb much more. I never really used apps or games i just found then so pointless compared to the games offered on my PC/Console, why would i bother. the only media things i used was the iPod but the media player on the blackberry is essentially the same thing. All depends on what you use your phone for...

blackberry phones are the worst phones ever, my dad has the torch, i have the 9700, and they both suck. the screens on bolds are way too small, and keyboard should be kicked off the face of the planet. the screen quality on the torch is bad, and i can make  cup of coffee while it restarts. all in all 4/10

I'm a blackberry user and the reason why i stay with it because of the smiley faces lol. they are soo cool lol.. but the only down fall with the iphone is the memory.. if you buy a 32 gig it better be good for 3 or years. but with black berry they will always have the memory thing that i can transfer all my files in an instant :) its not complicated.

I might add, for those who do not know that as fun as Siri can be, if you use it outside of wifi you are being charged EVERY time it is working even if it is just sending or reading a text, so unless you have truly unlimited data it is not advised to be used outside of a wifi area...I'm saying if you're running on a plan where your data is not unlimited, just a heads up :)

I am really stuck...I have no idea what to choose...I'm a 14yr old girl, had a bb curve 3g for four months until the trackpad broke the place where I bought it from couldn't repair it... Well I tend to use apps quite a lot and the camera doesn't matter either that much because I have a separate camera. I love BBM and I'm not allowed FB/Twitter which is why I rely on BBM. I drop my phone quite a lot. I use email a lot. I use applications such as Word to go for BB Pages for Apple...please help :)

Only a physical keyboard is fast and comfortable. If you use (present) apps a lot, probably you'll keep using apps a lot even with 9900 (and the numbers of iOS is composed by "click to hear a burp" too).

Another thing that keeps me thinking about a sarcastic comment, is the "I drop my phone quite a lot". Apple product have never been resistant.

BB is the best platform for mailing, thanks to the keyboard too. Also, better battery life.

I have owned both and it is an easy comparison. Use a BlackBerry if you are over 30 and do not view a phone as an entertainment/status symbol. BB is a better phone,mail system and hardware. Use the IPhone for its apps, better browsing experience, entertainment options and software.

Think about what will you be doing on your device 90% of the time, decide from there. On the app argument Blackberry apss are less, but the core apps. BBM, Travel and Traffic (turn by turn nav &traffic) free and great. Facebook/twitter for BB, shazam, dropbox, wikitude,foursquare are all decent on BB. Aside from gaming, most iphone users i know use a set of that same suite of apps 90% of the time. BB has wifi hotspot, can be used with touch/pad/etc. For me it comes down to keyboard pref.

The comparison is simple.

BlackBerries are professional instruments; iPhones are toys. I like both for different reasons because they both have strengths and weaknesses over one another, but I favor BlackBerries overall because of their security features and executive aesthetic appeal. I compensate BlackBerry's performance flaws with my iPod Touch 4th Gen. Perfect combination.
