This performance left me with mixed feelings. I'd never heard of Christa before, but I was immediately attracted to her bluesey sound, which to me, had strong reminiscences of Janis Joplin. (anyone else see/hear that??)

But alas, after checking out some of her other work it seems she's just a comedy singer who sometimes sings a blues song. Pity.

I think she could have a big impact if she ever decided to dedicate herself to the "dark" side. Perhaps she's just too happy & content.

@DarkGaucho Having personally seeing this FULL song performed, and being personally acquainted with Christa, let me tell you:

She is a blues woman through and through. But when she performs on two-bit tv shows (spicks and specks aside) she does short humorous performances.

Perhaps you should pop by Sydney and check her out!
