Jewish El-Elah-Elohim(meaning deity-god-God)=Alef-lamed-he, that's the basic root of this hebrew word. Arabic Ilah(meaning deity-god)=Alif-lam-ha.
Aramaic Eli or Eloi from El and Eloh(see Elohim)(meaning, my God)=Alef-lamed or Alef-lamed-he or Alef-lamed-vau, Alef-lamed being the more basic root of the later word Elah.
Allah=Al-Ilah (al=the Ilah=god, so The God) is not a name that personifies God. It only represents Him as a title of The Most High.
YHWH is not a proper name either, because in Jewish history, names always had a meaning, and were given as a title mostly (like from Abram to Abraham=father of nations).
YHWH is an almost exclusive title or name of God (there are reports of angels being called with this name in the old testament), and it's meaning is approximated to be "I Am".
Those angel are not named YHWH, they were bringing a Message from YHWH. They did indeed say and claim to be YHWH, but they were like a fax message from YHWH, telling the message exactly as if YHWH had been there Himself.
The title of "I Am", is given to God accordingly in the Qur'an and Islam in general, which is found in perhaps the most important Qur'anic verse, Ayatul Kursi, in Suratul Bakarah (2nd chapter), Ayat number 255.
Here it is uttered as the words Al-Hay ul-Qaiyum=The Ever Living, The One Who sustains and protects all that exists.
If you read the whole verse and look at the context, it becomes even more clear that it has the same meaning as the tetragrammaton YHWH.

I think that all President Ahmadinejad is doing is trying to secure the safety of his people. Since the Iranian Revolution relations between America and Iran have always been unstable. It appears that America thinks it is perfectly reasonable for them to instigate propaganda against Iran but it is not ok for Iran to instigate propaganda against them. It's Al-ilah, not all-ah. There were two supreme deities in Mecca before Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah on him), Allah, and Hubaal. Aramaic Eli or Eloi from El and Eloh(see Elohim)(meaning, my God)=Alef-lamed or Alef-lamed-he or Alef-lamed-vau, Alef-lamed being the more basic root of the later word Elah.

Allah=Al-Ilah (al=the Ilah=god, so The God) is not a name that personifies God. It only represents Him as a title of The Most High.
YHWH is not a proper name either, because in Jewish history, names always had a meaning, and were given as a title mostly (like from Abram to Abraham=father of nations).
YHWH is an almost exclusive title or name of God (there are reports of angels being called with this name in the old testament), and it's meaning is approximated to be "I Am".

The title of "I Am", is given to God accordingly in the Qur'an and Islam in general, which is found in perhaps the most important Qur'anic verse, Ayatul Kursi, in Suratul Bakarah (2nd chapter), Ayat number 255.
Here it is uttered as the words Al-Hay ul-Qaiyum=The Ever Living, The One Who sustains and protects all that exists.
If you read the whole verse and look at the context, it becomes even more clear that it has the same meaning as the tetragrammaton YHWH.
