Its true that some won't go on to be doctors or lawyers, but there are some people that have made it because of the schools that they have gone too. Thank you for posting this. This movie addresses a major issue that people need to know about and that needs to be taken care of. I used to live there, I went to the school, had some of these teachers and even got to see some of this stuff in my class when I was there. Having lived there, things seemed normal and you get used to seeing it over and over again but once you step out of perspective you realize that things are pretty bad and its just depressing to look at the reality of things.
