If you feel so strongly that you must go on the defensive with such a strong statement about not going country, why even sing it in the first place? Really it's not that big of a deal as long as the lyrics are not immoral. If a christian can't sing a secular song then that must include all forms of secular entertainment.Sing what you want and fooey on what people think. Answere to no man, only God! I remember when your Daddy and The Original Hinsons in 1993, at a concert One More Hallelujah, when describing your granddaddy with all the children around the bed and that some of them had not totally given their life to Jesus. There are no embarkations for a country music, or any other secular music career for that matter, in the works.
